Pick one player from each NHL teams that would help Habs the most...

Of course some teams got easy picks like Crosby from the Pens...

Vancouver : Kesler
Philly : Pronger
Detroit : Datsyuk
Boston : Lucic
Pittsburgh : Crosby
Washington : Ovechkin
San Jose : Heatley
Tampa Bay : Stamkos
Chicago : Toews
Calgary : Iginla
Phoenix : Yandle
Dallas : Richards
Los Angeles : Doughty
Minnesota : Koivu
Anaheim : Getzlaf
Nashville : Weber
NYR : Callahan
Buffalo : Vanek
Carolina : Staal
Columbus : Nash
Toronto : Phaneuf
St-Louis : Backes
Atlanta : Byfuglien
New Jersey : Kovalchuk
Florida : Weiss
Colorado : Duchene
NYIsles : Tavares
Edmonton : Hall
Ottawa : Spezza

It is not necessary an all-star pickup, you have to choose one player YOU THINK would help Habs the most.

Byfuglien : the kid s great hockey player but he's all offense. You can't say he's a defenseman or a forward.... its like a mix of both.

Enstrom is always there to save his ass. Yeah would be great to have him but maybe not playing defense. I also like Ladd and Enstrom

I think for 90%+ of the teams you'll get the same answers.

Pretty much in the end people will pick, and usually they will be right, the top player on the team.

The best way to possibly do a fair list worth discussion is making an entire roster of 23 players including the salary cap. To add a twist, you can't choose anyone on an entry level deal because guys like stamkos aren't worth base salary OR the 3 mil with bonuses. They deserve more. You could only choose max 1 player from each team but aren't forced to pick from every team. That's something I would do.

Remake thread and choose to exclude superstar or star players, I think you'd have many different answers

This thread would be interesting with a limit on the amount of ELC's and a salary cap.

Id have to pick only one player and that player would be Jesus Schenn or Wayne Schenn.

About the same list as previous exept i pick eriksson in dallas and Kane in atlanta. Prefer perry to getlaf too and Zetterberg in detroit.

A few of these have explanations as they arent your run of the mill picks

Vancouver : Sedin (both of em lol)
Philly : Pronger
Detroit : Lidstrom (he's getting old, but there is no player I would rather have paired up with PK than him, even if it would be for 1 year)
Boston : Lucic
Pittsburgh : Crosby
Washington : Backstrom (Over AO, because we need a true #1 center. Plek is awesome, but in an ideal world he'd be on a second line, first PK, second PP.)
San Jose : Thornton
Tampa Bay : Stamkos
Chicago : Toews
Calgary : Iginla
Phoenix : Yandle
Dallas : Richards
Los Angeles : Kopitar
Minnesota : Koivu
Anaheim : Getzlaf
Nashville : Weber
NYR : Gaborik
Buffalo : Vanek
Carolina : Staal
Columbus : Nash
Toronto : Kessel
St-Louis : Backes
Atlanta : Byfuglien
New Jersey : Kovalchuk
Florida : Weiss
Colorado : Stastny
NYIsles : Tavares
Edmonton : Hall
Ottawa : Neil (Not as good offensively as Lucic, but exactly what the habs need most IMO)

Evander Kane from Atlanta. I'd be all smiles if we could get him. Put him with Pleks and Cammalleri and watch out.
