The Bruins are a lot tougher than us, but I hope we will protect ourselves. Right now, we look like a little coward team without any toughness. We need to face them tomorrow !

This is my fight card :
White vs Campbell
Moen vs McQuaid
Mara vs Boychuk
Subban vs Horton

Give me a break with : We will hurt them with our power play... It's such a looser mentality. And show them we don't need to have the referees on our side to beat them !

The Bruins are such cowards, especially Lucic. They won't get in any fights tomorrow... unless they're winning or trailing by at least 3 goals in the 3rd period. If they put rask in goal. they have more chance to win. Thomas is a joke against the Habs.

You might as well cheer for another team because thats not gonna happen. The habs are there to win the game, not to please blood hungry fans like you.

Let me guess.... You've spent decent percentage of your time in life debating that your dad was stronger than other people's dads.

Also, are you aware that you just implied that wanting to win is somehow part of a loser mentality?

Any decent hockey team should play to its strengths and avoid playing into the other team's strengths. Physicality is one of the Bruins' strengths and one of the Habs' weakness. It would be stupid to provoke another fight fest. It's as simple as that.

A loser mentality that has.won us 8 of the last 9 meetings with them? Right. Grow up. A 'fight card' for a hockey game shouldn't have to be your first clue that you're completely out of touch.

I'm expecting one of the less physical game between Habs and Bruins in a long time with all the hype and what happened last game. Bruins will be watched closely and Habs aren't the style to retaliate so the two teams will be cautious and even in the hitting department it will be boring.

I hope my prediction will be wrong, but that's what I'm expecting.

3-1 Habs Cammalleri, Eller, Pouliot, Bergeron

You certainly prefer the games against Tampa Bay and Florida...
Why there is a rivalry between 2 hockey teams ? Because of the fights and physical plays !

This one goes in the Habs favor. I think the crowd will be HUGE in this match and it's going to be in our favor.

3-1 Habs. Pacioretty, Plekanec and Andrei Kostitsyn

I dont think there will be any fighting going on (as bad as last game). I think we will see a physical game where the 2 points matter.

has nothing to do with being afraid. I think montreal ''fans'' care more about winning hockey games than fighting. Only boston fans care more about fighting than playing hockey,. you can always go cheer for them

Hamrlik - Wisniewski
Gill - Subban
Sopel - Weber/Mara (I'd expect Mara)

Price
Auld

INJURIES
Darche (groin; ~1 week)
Spacek (surgery; 3-5 weeks)
Gorges (ACL/MCL; out for season)
Markov (ACL; out for season)
Pretty much what I am expecting. The Habs will play their game and have the last change this time so that should also help with matching etc.

Not cheer for them, but I love to see how they play. And I would love the Habs do the same thing, just like 25 of the 30 teams in the league !

I'm with Bruin's homer Mike Milbury: fighting has no place in hockey any more.

Im on the fence on this issue. It's obvious that we dont like fighting because let's face it it's not our calling cards. but my question is that if fighting in hockey is so cool and important (all the years i played i probably got into 2 of them ) then why is it that this show was not more popular ?

I'm listening to Team 990 online, and MAN your hosts are much more pleasant and tolerant than ours here in Boston.

Heaven forbid should Boston sports radio talk about hockey prior to one of the most anticipated games of the year. You know, there's NFL CBA minutiae and Sox spring training lineups to dissect. God bless the internet.

I'm with you.

Bruins are the perfect exemple. Skills, Depth, Size and Toughness.

Guess what, the Bruins fights a lot and they also win hockey game. Wake up MTL fans.
