Proofread more + don't insert yourself by using "I" unless you have something to add. Something new.

I ripped out most of the direct legal quotes/legalese and simplified it.

I don't see where he used the word "I" once. It was a great article!

Thanks, Dolemite.

A question that I have not seen asked yet in my few readings on the legal aspects of this whole debacle.

If Goldwater is suggesting that this deal contravenes state law, where is the state of Arizona on this? Has anyone heard a comment from the state government? I may be wrong, but if there was a violation, wouldn't the state itself sue the City of Glendale?

"This has nothing to do with business. It has to do with a subsidy/gift that goes against the Arizona Constitution.

Pointing out that Goldwater doesn’t have business experience is like me pointing out that a Police Officer has no experience in selling meth. He/she doesn’t need experience in it to know it is against the law and to stop it."

Pretty much sums it up

Specious comparison. Analogies like this one are often as wrong-headed as they are convenient.

The issue is whether the deal represents a subsidy in the first place, which is where business experience might indeed come into play.

I can't belive how you Coyotes fans have been put through the ringer.
Hope it resloves for you soon. Hate to see any fans lose their team.

Regarding the above post, its intersting that Mr.Oosterhuis appearantly
joined HF Boards just to make that first post.

Strange.

Wow! As a police officer, I would want to know as much about what I'm going to be buying/selling as much as possible. The guys in our state GIITEM squads definaetly look the part. They do that for a reason...so they are not spotted and killed.

Please don't ever use a police officer as an example again! Thx!
