Do you think any team has a good chance against them? Nucks got their injuries and red wings never seem to be healthy either or play to their potential, what do ya'll think?
Their goaltending seems at least as good as the Red Wings has had since Hasek ---- i.e., more than serviceable with the potential of one of their two goalies turning hot in the playoffs.

For what it's worth, here's the PPG numbers for their D-men:
0.56 (Pronger)
0.47 (Timonen)
0.43 (Carle)
0.35 (Meszaros)
0.21 (O'Donnell)
0.19 (Coburn)

And here's Detroit's numbers:
0.79 (Lidstrom)
0.79 (Rafalski)
0.48 (Kronwall)
0.28 (Stuart)
0.28 (Ericsson)
0.16 (Salei)

Guy Bocher said we were the best team Tampa's faced all year after we beat them the other night, "no questions asked"...

Then at the end said we were better then Philly.

Yeah, and they played against Philly just before us, lost "only" 3-4 at a shootout.

Carolina stopped the Flyers yesterday, btw.

philly wont make the final. if they miraculously do, they will quickly fall to the western conference representative. west is best and will be for some time.

It certainly doesn't look like anyone will be able to stop them. But you never know in the NHL.

Van

Call me a homer, but Van has the best first line if not 2cnd as well, better Tender and the best backup in the league. We are injured big time right now, depending on our AHL defence. When our D is healthy we are almost as strong as Philly in that department, we also have 3 of the top five for plus/minus players and a revamped Lou. Kesler is playing awsome. I would LOVE to see a Van/Philly final. Van can stop Philley.

West is best that is certain.

We have won once in regulation in our last 17 games vs. the West.

The Flyers have lost 4 straight and it is to some real bad teams.

As much as I would love to destroy the Flyers in the cup, I take joy out of watching them stink it up.

I hate the Flyers and all Philly teams for that matter but I could definitely see the Flyers in the SC Finals this year. I"m a big Giroux fan and I really like Bobrovsky.

WIth that said, if it was a Flyers/Wings SC finals, I'd hope for a Flyers bloodbath
