Everything was working against them tonight and they still said, **** it, we're winning.

Memories of February receding into the haze... bright skies ahead.

Well that was entertaining. Especially because LA fans hate Ribeiro (hee, the irony) and he ends up with a goal and a game-winning assist.

Can we just bronze Jamie Benn? That would be ideal.

Good team.

hahaha I ****ing love it.

Stars expose the Kings as the bunch of heartless ***** that they are. Benn making Doughty his ***** for yet another night. It's the sort of thing I could get used to.

Absolutly massive result for the playoff implications. A strong home stand will put them within reaching difference.

There's some very tough games coming up, and no easy ones that's for sure. Dallas is going to have to bring this same effort and intensity every night to keep getting the results.

I really hope Richards can integrate seamlessly into this new dynamic they have going. If that happens, they'll challange any team in the league.

Razor said during the game that the league AVERAGE was 3......3! That's a testament to how well we can handle ourselves under adversity.

Who else loves Goligoski right now? He plays with so much confidence and has slick moves..

Jamie Benn is my favorite Star and it's not even close.

Richards and Grossman come back soon! Can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for us. Kari with a huge game as well. Fistric also played well... Please scratch woywitka when Richards and Grossman come back.

I freaking loved the trade at the start and I love it more now. 2 assists tonight, 26min ToI. This guy's one of the PMDs we desperately needed, and you can see how different the team is with him on it.

Also Ribs 1G, 2A, 3Pts tonight. Great way to step up when we needed him to.

GoGo brings that puck moving dynamic that we haven't really seen since a certain russian left us a couple years back. When this kid gets into his prime, he will very likely be our next Zubov.

My thoughts exactly.

Really hope they don't blink at all when the two guys come back. I don't think it will matter so much when Grossman comes back besides a little less time for the top D guys. But with Richards, everything is affected.

Either way, they can't get back into the line up fast enough.

STARS WIN! YES BABY! Goligoski is playing crazy! Ben is tooo sick! overall a huge game from everyone.

I thought kari had an aright game, wasn't tested too often, gave up a couple softies in this game. I think he needs a rest and were in a good position now, so y not give raycroft a start? and plus their going back home where raycroft has been nothing but solid. anyone agree?

I'm loling at the 3 stars:

1) Morrow (DAL)
2) Williams (LA)
3) Benn (DAL)

I don't see how Ribs wasn't on there....no offense to Benn, but his impact on the game tonight was just a little bit greater, IMO.

Jamie Benn is Jamie Benn.

(though, I'd put Ribs on there before Williams, but it's the home town media so whatever)

Nieuwy is turning out to be a very good GM, getting Gogo was the best player we got from a trade since getting Richards and Ribs! We have found a D to build around now! He will be a potentially "A" or possibly captain b.c IMO Benn and now Gogo are next in line for the "C".

Also Kari played a good game, it was underated IMO. He made some key saves, especially the split save he made in the 3rd to keep it tied at 3-3!

Hey i was happy with the Goose trade from the start.

Some other notes of the game:

The negative first..

-Kari looks shaky. His rebounds are getting bad, his angles are off, and his glove side high is getting worse than ever. His tracking seems a bit off as well. He needs a night off or two. Raycroft DEFINITELY needs to start vs Philly down the line, our only EC opponent for the season. But I also hope they start him this week, maybe versus Minnesota or Calgary.

-Robidas needs Grossman back so they can reduce his minutes. He's blowing tires left and right out there, and we're really lucky because I counted 3 times tonight he lost his balanced and as such lost a puck retrival battle he should have easily won to the Kings' forecheck.

-Ott needs to realize he's our Manny Malhotra now, and he can't afford getting kicked out from games. He's our faceoff guy, he needs to realize his importance.

-Would like to see Skrats as the #4 D, not Woyboy.

Positives:

-Burish continues to impress. I don't think anyone ever expected him to have as much skill as he's displayed with us this year. He may break 10G this season which is great for a role player.

-Vincour played another great game. He'll break out soon, we need to give him time. Hopefully the coaching staff doesn't give up on him.

-Fistric did a good job in the limited ice team he received. He's been having trouble clearing the zone lately, hopefully he can improve on that.

-Benn.. nough said.

-Ribs looks determined and motivated. Hoping he can still get his 20 of the year like he wants.

-Langs had a good a game. This coming from someone who is not a fan of him at all.

Back homeee we gooo.

not because we are winning. The Gogo deal was a huge one that brought us back to our winning ways and the Langs deal wasen't that bad either. He's been getting on the score sheet ever since he's got there. I'd love to re-sign him, not sure about everyone elses opinion.
He's made the right moves, not to mention he also fetched us Kari for cheap.

Totally is.

Go back to the Anaheim game thread and look through the end pages again. The sky was completely falling. Completely.
