Pretty sure nathan mackinnon is the early favourite for 2013.

I heard him say he was intrested in the NCAA, but regardless what CHL team would have the best chance of obtaining his services?

2013 is a long way away, players ranked in the first round have gone undrafted that far away.

I don't know which league that was, but watching juniors about the same age regularly in Finland, that looked kind of pathetic. It's no miracle that some kids put up such huge numbers there.

People are saying they are playing the NCAA card to ensure Max either goes to Kingston (where Tie's buddy Doug coaches) or Peterborough (Tie's old team).

i hate that players do that now.

all the top players chose where they want to play and OHL gm's are forced to just heed to their wishes.

And who does it say is more of a sure bet than anyone?

I've watched both Domi and MacKinnon play. Domi's a great player, but MacKinnon looks like a men amongst boys (and that's when he plays with kids who are a year or two older than him).

McFarland looked like that a lot of games for the Jr. Canadians. Then again his team was stacked, but a lot can change.

This guy is faaaaar from being ranked 1st for 2013. As of right now ISS doesnt even have him in their top 5 for the upcoming ohl draft. He was the early favorite to go 1st overall in the ohl draft but is now projected to go somewhere in the middle of the 1st round. I saw him play a few games at the canada games tournament in halifax and was unimpressed. He has good hands but tries to do too much, and the main knock on him is that he lights up weak teams, but doesnt show up in close games. Nathan Mackinnon is the one getting all the attention for the 2013 draft as you may have seen him on tsn or in espn the magazine and he is amazing. Another one to watch for is curtis lazar who is also very good and was top scorer of canada games and captained bc to a gold medal.

myself I am not a Max Domi fan, the kid is small which usually does not matter to me if a guy is skilled he is skilled, I went to watch him many times and every time I come away not impressed, he is a good skater, has great hands with the puck but he tries too much with the puck, puts himself in danger, gets stripped of the puck more than anyone else I watched, also he is unable to raise his game when the chips are on the table, I also find when he is played hard on defense he is a non factor in the game.

Myself I think Nick Baptist and Jordan Subban are better prospects than Domi.

Also that 2013 list is so off, Domi the top 95 lol, Klimchuk though could be a 1st rounder he is not top 3 I can say that.

Just an FYI, unfortunetly the new ownership at ISS has not put any resources towards the OHL Draft, im not sure that they are really a voice of reason with that.

Domi will be in the top 5, with others like Ritchie, Nurse, Baptiste, and one of Varga, Maletta, Subban or others.

I was at that game. It was in the Peterborough Midget Tournament of Champions, and against a AAA Pittsburgh team. They where obviously no match for the Ontario based teams in that tournament.

Not after the Canada Games. There were quite a few players that looked considerably better than Domi did.

he's gunna go in top 5 of ohl draft this year.

we will then see how he develops in his first 2 years in league.

very early. I still give the nod to Sean Monahan or Nathan MacKinnon for 1st overall in 2013 draft

By the looks of it, you guys will be hanging around the bottom for a few more years. Might want to take a look at prospects like Max.

He was impressive when I saw him play but far from dominant. I was much more impressed by Darnell Nurse.

And I'm sure THN thinks they have hit the jackpot with Tie Domis kid being a top prospect. We'll be sick of him by 2013

He's got a lot of Crosby in his game from what I see. Short but strong, quick with great hands and finishing. Hard to tell about his vision from those videos but for sure a talented kid.
