Sounds like he's okay, maybe just your garden variety Tuukka meltdown?
Sounds like he's okay and just had a meltdown.

I would assume that the media frenzy that surrounds the team acts to condition players not to say stupid things. A player would have to be extremely stupid not to realize that even the smallest comments become headline news in Montreal.

The Bruins haven't yet learned this lesson. Remember Rolston chirping before the Habs upset the B's in the playoffs? I kinda miss the 700lbs line.

It's a shame because we only get one side of the story. Chiarelli's angels aren't quite the angels they want us to believe.

Generally these games that get hyped up in the media and the press always fail to deliver. We'll probably see a pretty uneventful 2-1 or 3-2 type of game. I hope I'm wrong though.

I don't see that type of game at all. I expect tonight to have a lot of emotion.

This is Bizarro World!

Bruins are the victims!

Marchand, Clode running at the mouth (must be checked for rabies)
Campbell so scared that his DADDY is coming to the game!

It's actually sound reasoning. The more you trash talk the more you fuel your opponents fire to shove your own words down your throat. Better to be quiet and show results instead of talking about them.

Can we actually have an infraction-count made at the end of the game, to determine who won?

Exactly. The bruins players are only trying to egg on the habs so that the game can degenerate like last time. Their insecurity is obvious and it's getting a little bit sad.

Wouldn't wanna go up against pyretta again, she'll find others on HF and get them to take infractions to bloat her totals

Have you taken a look at the mod stats lately? I don't need to bribe others... All the baddies just seem to flock to me.

You could be right. But history tends to say otherwise. Usually after a circus game with tons of fights and stuff like that the follow-up is pretty tame in comparison. Plus I would bet that Campbell might even attend or watch very carefully and that everyone on both sides has been warned.

In my opinion, and I could be wrong obviously, it'll be a pretty straight up hockey game tonight.

I listened to CKAC earlier and the Bruins players seemed really cocky about what happened in Boston. But to their defense, the questions being asked by the Montreal media are ''What do you think about the people in Montreal saying you only fight against smaller players?''. The journalist is actually suggesting that montrealers (in general) believe that the Bruins only take on small players.
Again, journalists are creating stories.

So basically like I mentioned earlier Marchand is a Lapierre clone who Bruins fans loathed for his antics of causing crap on the ice and rarely backing it up but yet they're fine with their player doing the same type of thing....

Double standard or just another case of love that type of player when he's on my team but absolutely hate him when he's on the other team?

You check the mod stats regularly? Who you trying to impress?
