Chicoutimi vs Quebec on RDS Wednesday

RDS is making a big deal of the first Carbonneau vs Roy game in the QMJHL. Anyway, it should be a good game.

I just read that Roy and Carbonneau will be guests on L'Antichambre. Michel Bergeron and Mario Tremblay will be there as well. Is it the first time we will see Tremblay and Roy together on live TV since 1995?

It's gonna be a crazy game, as usual between Quebec and Chicoutimi. I'm not a fan of any of those team, but I will sure watch this game.
Gonna be funny to see both coach at l'Antichambre right after. I wonder if things will heat up if the game was very hard played.

I wonder if Frederick Roy will do something stupid. He as a tendency of doing something stupid on special occasions.

typical rds and their juniors coverage...anyway

who the hell will watch this to see how Carbo & Roy coach ? what about the players ? more interested in watching some good prospect like Gibson & Hudon play for chicoutimi than watching Carbo behind the bench

Awesome.

I was looking for tickets but couldn't get one so I'm gonna watch it.

Not to mention, RDS and Sportsnet will show tomorrow's game between Quebec and Drummondville.

Hmm, that should be interesting.

Wow, RDS are hyping the game so much.

And Roy hasn't forgiven Carbonneau yet for what he said about Frederick!

I'm more excited for L'Antichambre than for the actual game!

Great opportunity to see Charles Hudon live. This kid is tearing up already as a rookie. If only he would grow 2 inches till next year for his draft.

No interest. The quality of play in the QMJHL is way behind the OHL and WHL. It's not even close.

You don't agree that the Q is third in terms of quality of player and competition? Really?

I agree but why is it any less worth watching?

And it's not as bad as what people makes it to be.

I lived in Windsor for 2 years and I went to Spits games and the quality wasn't that different. It depends on the teams. As an example, the Quebec vs Drummondville game last Sunday was worth watching. Probably more than a Petes vs Colts game...

Chicoutimi has the best ranked goaltender for the next NHL draft and two potential first rounders for 2012.

exactly.

I think the gap is way tighter then ROC people thinks it is.

everytime there are comparisons (memorial cup, U17, super series) the games or the province does look like it belong in the same league.

if the calibre is so much better, why OHL and WHl doesn't always end up winning by a wide margin at the memorial cup? or why do the q have the same or better result vs the russian? and Why did quebec ended up losing vs ontario in u17 final? add in the maritimers and it's not a challenge.

I agree the weakest teams may be weaker in the Q then others, but the best teams are as good in all 3 leagues.

so saying that a game in the Q isn't worth **** because the calibre is better in ontario is plain stupidity.

The number of Americans is one of the reasons why there is a difference. There are 50 in the WHL, around 100 in the OHL and not more than 4-5 in the QMJHL.

the language barrier must be an issue there.

There must be other reasons because there are 7/18 Q teams situated in an english market.

New England players are more likely to join the NCAA than others. The OHL has a way bigger pool than the QMJHL. Last time I heard, they had 2 times more candidates than the Q.

They want to play in the best leagues - that's the issue.

Misinformation it is.

When Ryan Bourque joined Quebec, he thought it would be way more easier because of the reputation. He admitted people were wrong about the league.

How someone can argue that the WHL and OHL are not better leagues than the Q, obviously is delusional.

When and where did we say the Q was better?
