Credit to Canadiens. Coaches clearly said don't make situation worse, finish the win. Players did. Last thing NHL needs was gong show 3rd.

Yves Boisvert from La Presse thinks the police should take care of Chara.

REally sick of watching the bruins take cheapshots all night and no one with the balls to return the favour. These cowards never pull this **** against other teams it is only us because we have zero enforcers!

Why can't the Bruins ever lose to us with class.

I'm waiting for the Bruins post game interviews saying how Pacioretty went down easy.

I want to say thank you to the posters who kept their cool. Trust me, I know how hard it was.

I also want to thank all the Habs mods. You guys/girls were amazing tonight, I'm really proud of you guys.
Completly agreed. I just imagine my sensible self seeing Pacioretty there for the next game (A La Gorges). Since everything seems fine, I say a concussion. How severe? No idea. Probably could of have been a Knock Out (Explaining why he didn't move) with a concussion.

Habs proved that toughness doesn't win hockey games. Heart and Skill wins you hockey games or in other words: Playing Hockey wins you hockey games.
The bruins are a pathetic team. Last game against started to push me in that direction, this game confimed it.

I think it was a guy on the penguins nhl forum who threatened ovechkin and he almost or actually did get arrested. Just don't do it, we mods are habs fans too, we're just as pissed off as you guys, don't give us more work. You guys can ***** about the hit and the ******** and the league all you want.

It's really unfortunate that Lars Eller's big game gets totally overshadowed by this terrible, terrible hit.

Get well soon, Patches. You're a great player and nobody deserves to get what you got.

All those rivalries against teams like Toronto, we play hard but respectful.

I'm sickened by what this Boston rivalry has become. It's a Vendetta for Boston, no longer a game. It's not fun anymore!

yeah Bruins are disgusting. Seems like they are pissed of always losing and just go out there to injure people. Wished we would do the same on their best player.

The sports world is watching the NHL, and everyone knows it. Chara will get what he deserves for this. Bruins fans will cry, showing their true colors.

Great way to sell hockey.

You think parents and their kids watching would dream to play this sport and in this league. Excellent job NHL!

Like many, the victory doesn't feel like a win. That hit was simply disgraceful. Chara is not an idiot, he knew damn freaking well what was going to happen. The fact it happened to MaxPac on top of it reinforces the fact that he was trying to lay him out completely.
I don't think Chara wanted to knock him out unconscious, but he wanted to lay him out and that's the result.
When good old hockey becomes flat out intents to hurt(injure), it becomes disgusting.

If you want to know ..

Chara answered 3 questions, he said he didn't intend to injure Patches and called the incident "unfortunate" many times, this coming from Conor Mckenna on twitter

I agree. I read some of the posts about the hit on the Leafs board, they have a very classy fanbase. Respect to them.
