Stupid play by Weber- glad it didn't lead to a last second goal. Preds have secured half the points from the road trip.

At least it's Erat and Leggy and not something lame like Leggy and Ward to open the overtime.

I'd rather have Wilson and Sk but like Fisher's speed with SK here.

I wonder how many more wins we would have if we had a finisher

ARGH! Patty again. Sometimes why its risky for the defensemen to pinch. On to the next game.

Poile ... we need a highly skilled goal scorer period ... preferably North American ... enough with the awesome grinders

Story of our lives. This is how CBJ feel when they come to Nashville. Marleau would pass Gretzsky if he played the Preds every night.

Damn decision by Suter to shoot there...

Oh well...

Keep fighting...

I think we should go SK-Fisher-Wilson

Erat-Legwand-Horqy

Halischuk-Geofreon-Ward

Spal-Smith-Tootoo

Sk and Wilson looked better together...

What we just witness is exactly the difference between the Preds and seemingly every other team. Marlue was able to score on an odd man rush and finish. WHAT A SHOT! But this just proves my point, we are going no where with legwand, erat, fisher, whoever. We need someone with killer instinct that will stick the hotdog in the hallway and just let it rip. This scoring by committee thing doesn't win championships when no one can finish.

The one thing left out in Trotz's play-for-the-shootout theory is we have to get past five minutes of absolute SUCK in OT...

Dumont played under seven minutes yet had one of the few plays where I remember one of our skaters breaking down the defense on the rush, although his shot was blocked in the end. He looked fast (for himself) too, he should be playing, we need goals.

It looked like we were playing for the shootout...till suter botched it.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but what I have been saying since the deadline will come to fruition. This isn't a playoff team.

I will change my profile picture to justin bieber for the entire playoffs if I am proven wrong. That is the bet I am making.

So many good set ups. Fisher found the puck on the tape multiple times with great looks and couldn't convert. SK definitely can pass. His biggest problem is KNOWING he can pass so well, and sometimes getting caught trying to thread too small of a hole. Of course if he had a finisher or two the amount of goals he would create would have to make up for the scoring chances his missed passes create...

Tons of great chances created. Especially by the SK/Fisher/Wilson line, I am really surprised Fisher couldn't convert on one of his chances. He has to be frustrated.

Trading Weber for a fat deal involving a top end scorer is starting to sound better to me. I dont think we should but its o so tempting to see what the return could be.

Probably will bring about a 4 game suspension against Toots, just because he plays in the same league as Chara. NOTHING would shock me from coley boy.
