I'll take the points, but I'm inclined to agree with Mr. Pronger. This team needs motivation.

Pronger is the man.

He's such a natural at handling the media, and is always willing to absorb their attention. He always says the right things, and from the heart too. I can only hope that Richards is taking notes.

First period was really good. After that, not so much. Nice to see Pronger and the rest not happy with just a win.

I thought Giroux looked pretty decent, he found open spaces again and had some good hustle for most of the game. Meszaros had to cover up for O'Donnell a few times, I hope he isn't wearing down.

To end on a positive note, Carle's pass to Brière was a thing of beauty. Great to see. Bobrovsky looked solid again as well.

Bob's rebounds scared me a little last night, but they were tough saves in the first place and it kept the D on their feet. The coverage on the only goal wasn't fantastic but it wasn't terrible either, it was really just a good effort by the Oilers. Still can't get that shutout...

Carle's pass really was fantastic. I noticed Pronger and Leino quietly playing much better than they had in the previous few games. Betts was constantly taking a beating making the right plays, great effort. Nice to see Carter and Briere step up as well, we need them to get hot now.
