My team FINALLY played up to its potential and dropped 7 ES goals on a mediocre team to win 7-0 (with my backup in). If they can keep playing like I KNOW THEY CAN then when Willis (my new 85 EPA 23 year old winger) is finally healthy they will be pretty unstoppable offensively.

Just fyi.
I was looking at him. Im always up by 5:30 so I thought I might be able to get him cheap is nobody else was up. How much are you going to drop on him?

I'm looking into this guy if that guy goes for more than 8m which I assume he will. I would prob drop 9 on this guy.

I'll spend whatever it takes. If you have that much free room and want D, I'd just go after Kondratov.

http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=574444

Great defensive d-man with some solid offensive skills.

I'm only looking to spend 7.5 on Yuma, but I do have some more room available if he goes higher. Ideally, 7.5 is what I want him at, but I'd do 8.5ish if I had to.

Alright, like I said my plan was around 8 or so but anything over 7.5 and I wont place a bid. For the price Kondratov is at already I would much rather have Yuma.

So the doctors have informed that Willis has recovered from injury, hurray!

I can't possibly play him at 51 fitness, though.... can I?

I made a trade today to help fill the void from trading Macnaughton yesterday.

I traded:
http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=684565

and I got:
http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=684414

Plumer was a great defensive player and in the right situation could put up some points but this guy seems to be more of the sniper I need.

Really nice deal for you, CGB. Thomas is clearly the better player of the two, imo and should hit 82ish EPA with the same routine as Plumer. Also, I am very wary of the 'defensive' trait on forwards after watching OPV suck it up for half a season for L despite great offensive stats.

Lol. Someone wants to trade my only really good center http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=376965 for a decent young defenseman http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=701431 .

Can anyone suggest what's wrong with my second line? They are set to dump and chase, and they all have good skating, speed, work rate, and good wristers, but they aren't producing. It could just be that I haven't been line matching and that's why they are doing badly.

edit: My defensemen if it matters are this guy http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=431751 and one of these two http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=658761, http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=125608 . Maybe I need one with better puck possession skills or speed? All are good passers.

Centers are the hardest position to fill after goalie. Keep your top centers.

Also, my team is all kinds of inconsistent this season. IDK what happened, I literally made no player moves other then re-sign everyone and sign a few draft picks. My cap went up, but half my guys got stars now, so they all got more expensive. Oh well. I have little wiggle room to improve without cutting the guy a new person would replace.

Hmm, so why did this thread die, exactly? I didn't get the memo

I looked for a new thread and couldn't find it, so pardon me if there is one.

Well personally I got promoted to 2.2 this season, and it didn't go that well. I was on the borderline of the playoffs most of the season then had a 4 game losing streak at the ended of the season to seal my fate. So frankly there hasn't been much to report.
