Lowe wouldn't want to give up winger Ales Hemsky or any of his recently drafted prospects, like Marc-Antoine Pouliot or Rob Schremp, but defenseman Eric Brewer might be enticing, suggests the Journal.

considering lowe said he's talked to burke, brewer appears to be the piece he's using to get a deal done

i don't think it'll happen, but worth noting anyway

There's no question he could be what Lowe's using, but it doesn't say that in the article. It's only the writer's suggestion. The full article is here:
