This is true. I'm liking Penner's addition a lot. Plus, when he goes after the puck around the boards, he almost always comes out with it. Opponents just can't get around him to get to the puck and he's so strong. I also think Penner's vision and passing is underrated. But all in all, I'm loving the first line. I hope they get to stay together for awhile.

You got to play your best goalie down the stretch. Bernier has been good, yes. Quick is better still. I know you like Bernier more, but it's Quick's team, at least this year.

So yes, let's play him the last 15 games to make him surpass the 72 he played last year. I love it.

Regardless, I'd love to play LA in the first round. They are pretty soft, not great D, no finishers, and really only have a goalie.
Lol hell no, no, ehhh maybe, and no.

Please show me where I said he should start in the last 15 games? hmm. Didn't think so.

How did this PGT turn into a goalie debate? Let's just talk about the game and how Quick played great.

jeez, now we're even debating about the goalie situation after a WIN?

enjoy it for like, five seconds, first.

... I think they've been pretty even over the last couple months and change. I also think they both need to be kept sharp in case of an injury or a slump. They have the luxury of two quality goalies right now - they need to take advantage of that.

I also don't believe the team belongs to any one individual, as it implies that one player is bigger than the team.

Next 4, I'd like to see a simple alternating plan.

3/11 - at Columbus - Bernier
3/13 - at Dallas - Quick
3/15 - at Nashville - Bernier
3/17 - vs St Louis - Quick

What's wrong with this? Nothing.

I don't want to discredit your post but I am really curious if this is sarcasm?

You've got some pretty heavy implication going there.

you missed your man making some huge saves to keep the game close in the 2nd, then again to seal the deal in the 3rd

Anyone else notice that Quick plays better when Shellz doesn't watch? Hmmm...maybe he feels too much pressure to perform when she's watching?

I'm not saying I'm right. But are you going to say I'm wrong that d-men this year, use the short pass up the middle of the ice as a way to break out of the zone this year?

Quick has stopped 79 of the last 80 shots in Detroit.

Personally I would like to see a 2-3 games to 1 ratio between them. And of course the team doesn't belong to one individual, but Quick has been, and should be the clear #1 at this point. And again I'm not discrediting what Bernier is doing or accomplishing.

Great game by quickie. Quick should start the next game and then let Bernie get Dallas.

Good come back, glad we didn't cave in and allow 6 more goals.

I was implying he should play in the majority of the games going down the stretch. Play Bernier enough to keep him sharp and keep Quick rested. Nothing more.

... How does it make me a fanboy to say I want both goalies to alternate, so they can stay sharp? That's interesting.
