I saw he is producing well in the DEL and has in the past but I've never heard of him before. Anyone know anything about him? Is he getting any sort of NHL interest?
He's developed well over the last seasons and there are rumours that a lot of DEL clubs are trying to sign him asap, although his contract in Krefeld goes until 2012. His scoring and his development is certainly at least partly due to skating in Krefeld's first line with Herberts Vasilievs.
I would rather see his career developing as an elite player in the DEL than as a depth player in North America. He might just not be big and strong enough for NHL hockey. And at his age of 23, even the drafted German players who couldn't establish in NA, have come back to Germany (Schütz, Gogulla).
