well considering like a couple weeks ago i seen a Dallas fan wanting to trade Riberio for anyone...(one player he Mentiond was Komi)....if you really want me to find it i will ......and besides if Dallas is getting ripped off...Burkes already proved he can rip off teams...ever since the kessel trade he pulled off trades that would have got Ripped to shreds on this site
Nope, since money isn't the major issue with re-signing Richards, there is no reason to move Ribeiro.
P.S. the issue is not having stable ownership. We have room in the budget to re-sign Richards, he just wants to know the knew owner is willing to put a winning product on the ice.

Bozak hasnt been to great this year if the leafs do keep him we are all hopeing this is a "sophomore slump" personally i think he would shine in a more "low key" team where hes not put on a spotlight and expected to be a #1-2 Center hes got 10 goals and 14 Assists...i beleive he is our best Face off man...and he is a pretty good Penalty Killer
So the Stars trade a top 30 center for a guy who sucks with only a 500k smaller cap hit, a 3rd-4th line faceoff/pk guy, and the ever important 3rd. The Stars spend more money and get worse. It's not a good proposal.

Coming from someone who isn't a fan of either team though is actually a fan of most of the players involved as I've followed them all from their Montreal farm days and UFA signs so I'll break down a more detailed analysis of your ridiculous trade proposal which prompted my equally fitting ridiculous response.

Undrafted 2-way bottom6 player overpaid and unsiged RFA. Mike Komisarek, Once a solid stay at home defender. He signed a huge deal as a UFA, one that a PMD and a PPQB usually signs, but Burke felt that a shutdown guy was worth the money. His 4.5m hit is lower than his 5.5 million salary next season and Dallas doesn't have extra cash to play around with. Ownership is looking to save money, NOT spend it. His salary doesn't drop up-side-down until the year after that. To top it off, ever since he picked a fight with Milan Lucic and got man handled, he's never been the same and has looked more like Wade Redden. His value has been plummeting ever since.

Then and this is the kicker, for the mediocre package of mush, do you ask for Scott Gomez? Nah, Chris Drury? Nah... Nope you ask for Mike Ribiero, someone who is on a great contract and has legit #1 Center talent.....get a clue.
Last year, Bozak looked like a legit top 6 forward and Komi was still regarded as a solid, tough, stay-at-home defenseman (albeit an injured one). So I think Dallas may have considered the deal (if it meant they were able to re-sign Richards).
Now Bozak is a borderline 3rd liner (though still young and has a chance to bounce back) and Komisarek is arguably one of the most overpaid defensemen currently in the NHL who doesn't bring a whole lot to the table and can barely get 10 minutes of ice time on one of the weaker defense corps in the league right now.

At best Ribs is Grabo who makes more money. We don't need any more second line players, we have boatloads of that. We need premier players. All-stars or bust essentially.

Ribiero would instantly be the best Center on Toronto. Grabo is a 50-60 pt player Ribs is a 70+ point player, big difference.
Disliking a player is 1 thing, giving a piss poor comparison because of your personal feelings makes you look like you don't know what you're talking about
Where's the value here? Ribeiro is a really good second line center on a good contract. Dallas also may lose Richards so why would they take the risk of dealing their top 2 centermen? Nobody wants Komisarek, he's a **** player on a terrible contract. Bozak is a third line center, maybe a second line center down the road and Philly's third holds no value in a crappy draft.
