Lombardi's answer to the fighting question was pretty lame. He didn't give the asker any respect at all, and just treated it like a silly question that barely merited an answer. And the answer that he gave was a bunch of cliches. I have no problem with the current level of fighting in the game, but it bothered me that a season ticket holder asked a legitimate question, Lombardi had an opportunity to give a considered answer, and he gave hot air.

C'mon, that guy was all over the place. That wasn't even a question, just some rambling tirade. If anything he was disrepectful to the other season ticket holders.

These were absolutely spectacular! Anytime you can here the individuals in charge speak clearly about the issues of the day is always a good thing. Thanks so much for these!

Solomon forgot to mention Lewis as one of the impending RFAs.. He said Simmonds, Doughty, Martinez and Richardson

I agree that the guy was rather unfocused in his question, but for Lombardi to just say "do you feel better now?" really was not appropriate. The issue the guy was raising--what the future of fighting in hockey is--was a legitimate issue, and whether or not he had a clear question I think is irrelevant. It's Lombardi's job, as the GM, to take every question seriously and give a considered answer.

It was nice hearing them use Clifford as the deterrent instead of Westgarth.
