I feel we can definitely beat the Hawks and Blazers. The others are tough, but hopefully we can go 3-3 in those 6 games.

Loved when we got Jodie Meeks and he is playing well.

Iggy and Durant should have a nice battle tonight, Iggy needs to make him work on both ends.

And the lack of an interior defender really hurts. People are to willing to drive and our defenders have alot of pressure on them outside. This hurts us against Westbrook, and will hurt us against the Heat if we match up with them in the postseason.

One game. It happened. Need to forget and move on. What matters now is what happens friday.

Sloppy plays lost that one for them, as well as a few unfavorable plays.

Ouch. That one hurt a lot. Atleast we get a chance to rebound right away at home vs the Celts on Friday night. Over 19,000 at the Center tonight, maybe they sell it out on Friday? I hope so, it'd be nice to see all Philly teams selling out at the same time.

Yeah, not a good loss. And another lesson for a team that, lest we forget, still has a lot to prove if they want to be on a level with the better teams in the league. The offense went completely stagnant late, and a few missed free throws ended up being huge. Beating Boston won't be easy especially since it'll be the 3rd game in 4 nights.

You know, I thought that issue was behind them. Guess I was wrong. Celtics coming in next game, then on the road to Milwaukee. Bucks aren't good, but neither are Sixers on the road, so they might be back to .500 after the next two. I hope not.

Too many 1 of 2's from the free throw line. Against good teams, in close games, you've got to make your free throws. It was part of the reason we blew the OKC game.

I came here to post exactly that. And it's not just 1 or 2 guys, it's everybody missing from the line. If they end up losing this game close, that would be a large contributor to it.

Nenad Kristic is destroying us.....

God, I just want a solid center. Hawes has looked good at times, but we need an upgrade and let Hawes be the backup.

We'd be so much better off with Sammy.

I was done with Dalembert.

Good win tonight. I'm actually enjoying the NBA again.

Gutsy win tonight by the Sixers. Gutsier than the Flyers' win last night in Toronto imo. Great all-around team defense again coupled with a nice run at the end there was good enough to not let the missed FTs bite them. That was a pretty clutch lay-up by Iggy with 12 to go.

So were a lot of fans. That doesn't make the trade any better.

Big win tonight after letting the last one slip away though. I'm quite surprised that they pulled this one out.

Addition by subtraction. Sammy didnt fit in the locker-room. He didnt want to be here and he didnt play for the team. Hawes has his flaws but he is young and he has some potential.

I don't think Sammy's trade wishes were anything that new, but his interior defense would have been an asset for this team (one that we currently lack), as would his expiring contract. Instead we're now paying Nocioni 6 and a half mil to basically warm the bench next year. And chances are very slim that Hawes will ever fulfill whatever potential he has.

This is like the Abreu trade. You get rid of a malcontent to improve the team dynamic. Hawes isnt as needy. And while the chances are slim they are better than the chances Sammy becomes solid.

Agreed.

But nice win tonight. Still played a little sloppy and we will have to clean that up to win in the playoffs. But overall, great effort
