Powe, betts, and Shelley with a great shift. And Boynton had an excellent keep.

Way better 2nd than first.

Also, just checked NHL.com and this was the headline they had up for Thrashers v. Flyers if any of you haven't seen it yet. Yeah, they went the rhyming route with the whole Pronger out thing, but they forgot about the homonym to that word and the whole "I'm the 'he" bit. Or maybe they didn't...

You could be right. Versteeg was at the point prior to the clear, too.

Much better period! Flyers had some great chances that period and capitalized on a couple. More of the same next period please!!

A year or two ago, there was a generic ad on NHL.com (to purchase Center Ice, I think) and among the "out of town scores" was the Flyers losing 9-0. An artistic rendering of sorts.

If our PP can get hot, that would be so huge. A hot PP can carry a team.

And Versteeg was at the point, Richards was high along the boards.

I thought he's looked totally lost when he's doing anything than winding up for a shot.

I am not a fan of changing goalies between period, don't think it gives the team as much of a spark.

But he is cold, lets get some shots.

Yes. They had a game last night, too, which went to OT.
