Kopitar has to put that in. Clang!

All alone in the slot.

Stars tripping us like mad then whine when one of theirs go down. Classic clueless Star fans.

I watched Ott take a 5 step run at one of our players with no call so to me its anything goes.

Nice job by Handzus at the end of that 1st period. That is how you eat a puck when time is running down instead of just throwing it up the middle.

I really like seeing Kopitar in the middle of the slot. Too bad he hit the post.

Good to see Doughty skating through the slot to create the opening for Kopitar.

Pretty entertaining game thus far. Long stretches with no whistles, that's what I like to see.

I liked allot of things in that first period. Our grit was good, DD jumping up into the play a couple of times, JJ solid Simmonds was good and bad, Cliffy with a nice check Quick being Quick and A Mart being solid and getting better all the time.

Yeah, that was a good period. If Anze could have buried that clanger, it would've been that much better, but I'll take it.

Simmonds? It just seems like he cant catch a pass cleanly in the last several games

Loved that A-mart poke check on Fakes (Ribiero)

I still give us a good shot.

Westy had a good check, then made the d-man flinch the next time the puck went behind the net. Bonus: he didn't do anything stupid. We'll consider that a win.

Thanks, for some reason I thought he had a second.

I agree DieHard. I didn't get to see Kopi miss as I am getting updates, watching an OHL game and practice at the moment.

Simmonds simply has to turn his game up and on or he is going to become redundant imo.

A Mart thought he was a gonner at the deadline so you won't see a happier or more dedicated kid out there now. Happy to see him continue to develop, I wasn't sure that he had much more to offer then being a solid 5/6 with a little O to offer but he keeps on impressing. Maybe a topside of 4/6 with second PP unit regular is where he is heading and that would be an incredible thing for him and us.

I give us a good shot

but the stars always make my queezey.

The shot they showed of American Airlines Arena makes it look like an airport lobby, haha. Seems pretty nice though, no? Those that have been there, what's it like?

Poni on the PP over Smyth is already starting to pay dividends. Poni's speed let him get to that dump in and get it back to the point for the DD goal.

I think with these new units our PP is going to be a lot better.
