It was Scuderi right?
It was Mitchell and Ott actually complained for a penalty after that.

Our second line is an issue right now and has to be "repaired" I have lost the goals against them but they are piling up.

After that intense game. Listing to the Ken Cail call the Monarchs game might not be the best thing for your heart! lol Muzzin just scored to make it 3-2 Manchester. with less then 5 minutes to go! If Manchester wins they leap frog Portland to go intro first place.

*edit*

Holloway adds a empty netter. Monarchs win 4-2!

I would love to have Sturm available to give Smyth a break. Too bad Dean thought Harrold was too important to lose.

Oh yeah, Quick with his 30th win. First Kings goalie with back-to-back 30 win seasons.

Love the first line

PENNER: ďThat was an emotional roller coaster. I think itís a credit to the guys in the locker room, not to get down, especially when they score with 40 seconds left. For us to bounce back, it showed a lot of character and a lot of heart. Itís almost like ignorance, or a naive attitude, to where we donít care if they tied it up. Weíre going to come back and get the next one. Other teams might fold the tent.Ē

I really hope the stars miss the playoffs by 1 point. That would be fantastic.

Not to be a party-pooper, but it's unreasonable to ALWAYS expect production from our 1st line. Meanwhile, the 2nd line has looked slow (Smyth) and a little lost at times. IMHO, those two lines need to be mixed together in an attempt to get both lines going.

Smyth / Kopitar / Williams
Penner / Stoll / Brown

Let's see what happens....

NO! Leave the lines alone! Jesus, Murray is finally letting them play and they are winning. Now people want the lines broken up?

If Murray wants to give Smyth a rest, then put Richardson on the 2nd line. Don't **** with the Kopitar line.

Something has to be done with Smyth. He's making too many mistakes. The other lines look good, but Smyth is bringing down the second line.

Actually, that's not a bad idea. It would benefit both Smyth and the Kings if Smyth took a couple of games off. Call them "maintenance days", or whatever.

Hell no! Leave the lines alone for once. We finally have a first line and you want to break it up???

Definitely but it'll never happen. In that case, I'd love to see Smyth bumped down to the 4th line and either A) Richardson in his spot on the 2nd line; or B) Poni in his spot on the 2nd line and Richardson in Poni's spot on the 3rd line.

The Kings aren't a 1st line. The Kings are a team.

I like Sydor's idea. It would give Smyth time to rest.

I agree that Murray won't bench Smyth, but he did put Handzus on the fourth line to get him going.

What about:

Penner-Kopitar-Williams
Clifford-Stoll-Brown
Poni-Handzus-Simmonds
Smyth-Lewis-Richardson

Get some speed on the 4th line to cover for Smyth. Lewis and Richardson work their ***** off.

Let Clifford know not to change his game, but he has some skills to bring to the 2nd line. Strong on the forecheck.

... I think that if we're looking back over this season for a turning point, Handzus' goal might be it. That was pretty amazing.

Those look very nice. I'd be surprised if these weren't our lines for the next game.

After getting two assists today, Poni might even earn a short-term promotion to the 2nd line.
