Hey.
Just wondering how Penner has been playing with you guys and if your happy with him so far. Havent been able to see any kings games with him in the lineup yet.

There are a couple of threads that ask the same question, if not on this page then on the next if you are interested.

5 points (2 goals/3 assists) in 5 games and look at how Kopitar has taken off since Penner's arrival and you'll see how happy we are with him.

He is definitely raining on your "Down With the Kings" parade that you have on your board.

I have always liked his style of play. Our boys tend to stay away from the slot and play the perimeter game. The first game in LA I saw his big body camping the slot and knew he was a good thing for this team.

He's got 2 goals so far and seems to be doing alright with Kopitar in terms of chemistry.

Penner's clicking at a point per game. Meanwhile, Mike Fisher has 0 points in his last 6 games.

Since the Kings acquire Penner, their record has been 4-1-1, with 14GF and 12GA. Kopitar has 8 points in that stretch and Williams has 6 points. I'd say he has been more than worth the package that Edmonton received and has been a big reason why the Kings have been playing so well of late.

The OP is a spy and this is an attempt to jinx the team. Fortunately, it has and will fail because I was wearing my anti-jinx magical underwear today with a Kings' crown at the crotch area...what? I borrowed it from Tonellisghost.

We should start an "Up With the Oilers" thread. That way we can have an anti-reverse jinx.

Nah, I don't wear underwear.

You must have borrowed them from JDM.

Now this is a disgusting post.

That doesn't make sense to me. What's wrong with some humor? Plus maybe we really do want the Oilers to succeed just to play spoiler in helping the Kings in their position in the standings.

Humor is discouraged. I have tried...except with Tony. He loves me. He said so.

Haha. wrong. I for one would love to see the kings win the cup even if it means the first rounder you gave us in later in the first round. Id love to see Penner, Smyth, Stoll and Greene win a cup. Along with the other kings players! Glad to see hes fitting in well and good luck rest of season!

This is exactly what a spy would say. We're on to you.

Who wants to go the Edmonton forum and start the "Penner Has Been Awesome For Us" thread?
