For those interested, here's an update of a stat we were discussing a couple weeks ago, team-by-team differential of PP chances and times shorthanded. Good to see that as we've won more games, the refs continue to bone us at ever-increasing levels.
MTL: -29 WSH: -33
Oh how will the refs figure to **** both teams tonight!!!!????
A better question is why doesn't Twitter have a filter to prevent a re-Tweet when someone is forwarding a message from someone you already follow? It seems to me that coding that particular bypass should be easy.

I thought Twitter does do this. I haven't seen any retweets of Vogs today, and I follow both guys.
I don't think that's a completely bad thing (this team needs to get back a bit of grounding whenever possible) but I don't like throwing the kid out there. He's not going to stay here.
I hope you'll pick up the entertainment factor for tonight. Not sure I can stomach two teams trapping. I figure the ref will drop the puck and both teams will look at it for twenty minutes from their own ends. Repeat until shootout.
Also, donkey punches for anyone (Hab or Cap fan) who says team x always gets the calls. Neither of our teams get the calls so we should all hush up.
Just so nobody asks tonight, the game will be on Cox Sports Net (74) for me, not the usual (57) after ESPN, because the Wizards are playing and we all know how kick ass they are.

would you rather holtby play tomorrow night in detroit? i dont think boudreau wants neuvirth coming off injury inactivity straight into back to backs on the road.
Not sure I like moving Mojo down but he does work well with Knuble.
two things. boudreau may want to keep semin working with someone more like arnott than like johansson and so he gets laich. he also seems to like the chemistry with johansson and knuble. this lineup holds that steady.
interesting what the caps look like with backstrom and arnott out. laich goes from not a center to first line center.
Count me in the group who is not a fan of Holtby getting the start tonight.
Give Neuvirth the start in Montreal following a Holtby win, but a win in what was not his best performance and then go back to Holtby tomorrow night.
Like some others here, I’m not a fan of the play until you lose approach.
All stated within the context of believing that Neuvirth is 100%.
i dont read this as play until you lose. this is choosing montreal over detroit. this is putting the more experienced goalie against detroit on the back to back.

That bugs me as well. My #1 enhancement request, heh.
I like sitting a goalie after he won his last game, more often than not, the backup. But Bruce sure likes to ride the hot hand. I would bet he is sticious for sure.
If he is changing tomorrow night regardless, maybe he wants to give Neuvy an extra day of rest. I have a feeling Bruce is planning on riding Neuvy from here on out, Huet style. If so, why go Neuvy only to sit him tomorrow, and then go back to him?

Detroit hasn't been their usual self lately either though. Four straight losses followed by an OT win over Edmonton before they beat the Blues Saturday night. They'll be well rested though.

I'm in the play Holtby in Detroit. Heck, play Varly there.
He has handled pressure. He played in Toronto. He played against Tampa.
I just think after some problems in the last game, playing him again is asking to see him get shelled against Montreal. Give him the night off, work on the problems in practice, bring him back tomorrow refocused.
