hhaa yea...i dont know the last isles/rangers game where he didnt play great...same way gabby always kills us (although i guess gaborik is a tad better)
heres to a good game (wouldnt mind a fight or two, and of course an isles win--we wont make the playoffs but hey, i can always hold out hope

"I used to pray for good things . I used to ask the Hockey Gods for puck luck for the NYR .
Now all I want is Torts the smug stupid goatee clown to be fired , . I hate Torts . Please hockey gods make him get fired. Please Sean punch him in face" -- Dorado
Per AGrossRecord -- Wolski is "understandably upset at being a healthy scratch but says onus is on him to contribute more"...
I know he has'nt been scoring a ton but the guy has talent and this team lacks goal scoring. Plus he scored in the SO to tie it up when they could of lost.
It's a tough call on who to scratch given the depth I know but I would of likely kept Wolskii in.
I don't mind the scratch of Wolski. What I'm worried about is what happens if we win and both E.C. and Aves play well? How does Wolski get back in the lineup? Again, I don't mind this as a one time deal to wake him up but Wolski brings too much to the table to be a scratch more often than not.

In that case, we give Zuccarello a seat for a game or two. While it would cause a mini-revolt from his cult following, he wouldn't be our biggest loss.
Gilroy out, good. He hasnt been as bad as some think, but hes been a little inconsistent as of late and Eminger needs to play. Hopefully Eminger has a good, tough, sturdy game and keeps himself in the lineup.
Wolski - im fine with this. Wolskis play took a bit of a dip the last two games. He really helps that line go and the Rangers need him to be going. I think Torts is testing him here to see how he reacts. Hopefully its just one game because with these tight games having a shootout wizard in the lineup is key.
Avery back - He better turn it up. A skilled guy in Wolski is sitting for him, and hes got the Islanders here. If he wants to stay in the lineup hes got to play like the Avery of old, quit the giveaways and dumb curling crap - get the puck deep with NO Icings and NO Offsides. Avery can easily be pointed out as the the one player that consistently ruins the flow of possession for this team. Unfortunately, i dont see him returning to form and I dont see his play turning around tbh.

Rangers need about 7 wins to make the postseason. They have 7 home games left, they have to win at least 5 of them to make things easier on themselves.
