@KatieStrangNYI: Al Montoya, questionable after feeling unwell following Sat night's game in NJ, will face his former team tonight at MSG

Complete ******** that Wolski is sitting out tonight, especially with Christensen in the line up.

Good move by Torts. Christensen works better with Gabby & has 4 goals, 7 points in his last 6 games played.

I saw us get shut out by Ty Conklin when I went to the game in November (luckily I also went to the Gaborik show against EDM the next week.)

I sold my tickets to this game cuz I wasn't feeling up to going, but please don't make anybody else go through what I did, Rangers.

Abuse Montoya, get Hank the shutout.

So I shouldnt start lundqvist in my hockey pool then ?I have a tough decision with Price playing washington and him playing the islanders who always seem to screw me over.

I actually feel pretty good about tonight for some reason. They're do for a win at home. Hopefully the Garden is loud too, the team could definitely use the support. It's the home stretch now so the building should be loud every night.

Any word on whether the Rangers requested to wear the whites again? I figure they'll wear the blue because I don't see the Isles agreeing to the change if it was proposed after what happened to Philly.

I have never wanted a blowout more then tonight. I'm so sick of retarded Isles fans pimping their young players for one month every year when their **** team goes on a hot streak.

I want Dubinsky to dangle MacDonald for a goal, Stepan to outscore Bailey, McDonagh to kick Hamonic's ass in a fight, and Staal to absolutely crush Grabner in open ice.

Still feeling 6-2 isles . They jump on us 3-1 in the first after the typical home ice parade to the penalty box and failures on our own PP . Tavares with 3-3 for a 6 point night .

Wolski - im fine with this. Wolskis play took a bit of a dip the last two games. He really helps that line go and the Rangers need him to be going. I think Torts is testing him here to see how he reacts. Hopefully its just one game because with these tight games having a shootout wizard in the lineup is key.

Avery back - He better turn it up. A skilled guy in Wolski is sitting for him, and hes got the Islanders here. If he wants to stay in the lineup hes got to play like the Avery of old, quit the giveaways and dumb curling crap - get the puck deep with NO Icings and NO Offsides. Avery can easily be pointed out as the the one player that consistently ruins the flow of possession for this team. Unfortunately, i dont see him returning to form and I dont see his play turning around tbh.
Avery will be animated because he knows if he continues to do nothing he falls in danger of being planted in the stands. Temporary wakeup or does the idiot finally get it?

No issue with Avery back in, not sure it should be to replace WW though. Unless Eminger completely messes up and plays like crap tonight there is no reason Gilroy should be back in this lineup the rest of the way.
Huge game tonight, at home, against a rival. Let's play balls out, get up early and not look back. Get Hank the SO.

Everyone hates him because he'll have a great 2 or 3 games and than disappear for the next 10-15. Extremely frustrating with the amount of talent he has.

If the Isles decided to pay to the cap ceiling instead of floor with their core they could be serious contenders . They are far closer to being a good team
Than we are

No they aren't. Their future looks promising but Pap probably isnt part of that future. Despite 45 points there are quite few people on Isles board that are sick and tired of him. The guy is a turnover machine.
