as long as #8 abuses paul mara or hal gill in some spectacular fashion, i'll probably be happy.

The defense and PK should keep them competitive during this road trip. It's more a matter of the goaltending standing tall when needed and the forwards being sufficiently responsible and focused. They'll have to be all the more dedicated now.

Post-system change they're 12-5-2 on the road and come into this one winners of five straight (and six of seven) on the road. They haven't lost by multiple goals on the road for over two months (1/12 3-0 whitewashing at Tampa Bay).

lookit you, with your detailed culling of historical data and thoughtful hypothesis about how systems play is responsible for a trend of good road performance.

can't we just wring our hands and shout that player X or coaching staff member Y needs to be put down like an injured horse?

There's a chance that Sloan could play so...probably.

not to nitpick semantics, but did you mean: "There's a chance that Sloan could play..." or "There's a chance that Sloan will get a jersey tonight?"

Sloan is likely just getting in the first game of the back to backs...either for Erskine or Schultz.

I am having a truly bad day… thought the game and HFB can take my mind of it… turn on the computer and find out that Arnott is out, for what looks like the remainder of a season… this ****ing day needs to end.
3-1 CAPS.

Yeah, there's a chance that Sloan will be on the ice at some point to show off his Olympic wheels.

Sorry about your bad day dude, but where does it say Arnott is likely out for the season? 3 games for now. Don't make it sound like he is done for the rest of the year. Almost crushed my hopes of this team lifting the cup in June.

Not sure I like moving Mojo down but he does work well with Knuble.

BCF surely wasn't aware of this fact. Cause no one can overcome these burdens AND Sloan!

I had forgot how annoying Habs fans were. Then I see the news of protesting a legal hit, and I was quickly reminded. Hey if they wanted to watch a non-contact, boring sport, they should have showed up to more Expos games.

Come on boys, give them something else to complain about.

I predict 20% pp success rate. And by success I mean zone time not scoring rate.
