My money is on Philly losing tonight. I swear I think they are losing on purpose to make sure the Devils don't win. They seem to lose only to Atlanta, Florida, Toronto, Buffalo, and NY recently (with a few others scattered in there).
Got an unexpected call from an old friend and teammate this afternoon and now I'm pumped for tonight's game.
With Pronger out and the team as fragile as it is, now is the time for someone to step up and take the reigns of leadership and run with it.
Like the Playoffs, that individual may not be Captain Mike Richards nor likely suspects Kimmo or Mimbo-Jeff Carter. Hell, it might Coby 2.0 the version we all saw play angry and brilliant a few weeks back, could be Danny Boy playing committed defensive and error free hockey. Might be anyone.
Quit listening to the fans, the media and the league. Get off the therapist's couch and quit getting in touch with your feelings.

So given our forward depth, it would appear to me that we shouldn't have too much of an issue creating offense against this less than stellar defensive group. Just have to get em past Vokoun who hasn't been all that impressive against the Flyers in his career, going 7-7-2 against them.
With the Washington Capitals riding an eight game winning streak, they have pulled to within one point of the Flyers for the Eastern Conference lead. And the injury-riddled Pittsburgh Penguins have somehow managed to pull themselves to within three points of the Atlantic Division lead. All three teams are in action tonight, so it is entirely possible that when all is said and done tonight, the Orange-and-Black could find themselves looking up at another club in the standings for the first time since early January. The time is indeed at hand for the Flyers to tighten the screws and correct their game with their defensive leader on the mend.
