Kings need to match Nashville hit for hit. They cannot allow Weber to set the tone of this game.

Maybe Bob and Jim will get off that kid's jock strap now. If he's not on the Kings, I don't want to see play well in this game.

The 2nd line (Stoll-Brown-Smyth) allowed yet another goal.
They need to wake up because latety this unit has sucked plain and simple.

Whatever line Smyth has been on has been a liability for a while now. Smyth isn't even on the 1st PP unit anymore is he? he's worthless 5 on 5.

I always had a lot of respect for Jim Hill growing up in LA, but if you are a sportscaster, you really should know more about ALL of the teams in your city. It is painful when he tries to pronounce the names of the players and use hockey terms to describe the highlights.

At least a guy like Barry LeBrock, Fred Roggin, the late Stu Nahan, or VanEarl Wright (as bad as he was) can actually show a little bit of hockey knowledge.

There was nothing Stoll and Brown could have done to be fair. Stoll won the faceoff, and Blum was Smyth's man

Score doesn't necessarily illustrate the pace and intensity of the game, but it's nice that it's tied so far and we get to hit reset for period 2.

I would say the pace for both sides is pretty fair.

Your spelling is a disgrace...

Seriously, a slap shot bounced off him. Bad puck luck. Nothing more. Its not like he blew an assignment or got beat one-on-one or something. Hardly a disgrace.

Ryan Smyth is without a doubt the slowest and worst skating player in the NHL. The only other player I can think of who was a worse skater than Smyth is Charlie Huddy. An outright ugly skaters who could barely move out there and is slowly becoming obsolete.

does any team eat more shots from the point than we do? It seems like were good for one of those every single game.

Actually it was Brown's man. He over - skated towards the boards and couldn't adjust back to the center of the ice when Blum one timed it. It was shown on the Preds feed. Oh well.

He did also pass the puck to Blum.....little more than bad puck luck.
