No flu for Halpern or Plekanec. Unless it's the mystical lower body flu. FML: http://twitter.com/LouisJean_SNET

So in about a week's time the Habs have lost a top forward line and another d-man? Tough way to go down the stretch but then nothing really has been easy this year.

If Plekanec's injury is serious and he's out for the season I hope we don't get matched up vs the Bruins (who won tonight). I don't want them getting any sort of satisfaction of beating a broken down Habs team like they enjoyed in 08/09.

If Plekanec is gone for any extensive period of time we're screwed... Our so called number 2 center as 4 more goals than Gill and scored once in the last 28 games.

Some disapointment toward #13... I was expecting this since pacioretty got hurt. Cammy's been so so all season and now that pac is injured, expectations are high on him. His bad play is becoming more and more obvious. He needs to get back to last year mode right now. That means not just scoring because of his shot. That means creating chances and making great passes, and willingness to take the extra step to win a battle for the puck.

I can't believe people want to re-sign Hamrlik. Just an awful awful player.

Without Plekanec :

-Your best scorer will barely reach 50 pts

-Your top centerman is Gomez, disappointing, to say the least, this season.

-You dont have anymore any player who keeps playing solid hockey with every single teammate on the team.

-Eller/Desharnais must play consistently against a top-6 opposition

-You must fill 2:45 of shorthanded icetime per game with already 3 D supposed to be playing on the PK out.

I think that without him and Markov gone in the same time, we just have to pray to avoid a sweep. Price could steal a game, though.

What have we done to deserve this ?
The number of injuries is not normal, they were sleeping in September or what ?

Hamrlik is the least of our concerns right now... He's a horse and logs big minutes against the opposing number 1 line. Give him a break.

I'm not a huge Hammer supporter, but in his defense, when he plays 26:14 like he did tonight, there's gonna be issues.

He can't play that many minutes.

Cut his salary in half and sign him as a 4th defenceman...then I'm okay with it.

Just an insane amount of giveaways by us tonight.

Cammalleri is starting to remind me of Michael Ryder. You cringe whenever he touches the puck except when its in the slot.

If Plekanec's injury is serious the Habs will probably go into a skid to finish the season.. Too many injuries to key players combined with Gomez and Cammy looking disinterested this season and I'm surprised the Habs are where they're at in the standings..

They should thank Carey Price everyday for having them in the playoff's right now because without him this season would have been a disaster..

When he's forced to play upwards of 30mins due to injury he is. When his icetime is lower, he is very effective

Well all those who wanted DD to have more ice-time will get their wishes. Let's hope he can step up.

He's 38, is slow and makes terrible decisions when he tries to pinch for offence.

There are better ways to spend money.
