Chances are we'll hobble into the post-season and be beaten by the Bruins, who need anything to keep their low self-esteem lives fruitful and will think they're the best again.

I mean, if I were in a fight with an equal, but someone broke his leg before the fight started, I'd totally feel like I'm big, strong and a great human being too.
Good call with engqvist, I had forgotten about him,.

DD had a brutal game.

Needed to step up and bury some of those chances, instead he mostly choked, and completely blew his position to give up the GWG.

Cammalleri was awful too.

First two goals were on Gill, last two were on Hamrlik.

That's all.

If Pleks is out for a significant amount (e.g. 1 game ) bring up a center. I guess Engqvist is the best option...

It could have something to do with having almost as many or more PP points with less PP TOI than some top forwards and Subban.

It does seem odd to single out the guy who's been picking up the pieces for over two years now when there appeared to be more wrong than Hamrlik tonight. Price was just stellar and deserved better - no doubt.

Hope Pleks and Halpern are not out too long - if so could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Backing into the playoff's like I expect may happen with these injuries losing to the Caps or Flyers I wouldn't mind as much...

Losing to the Bruins though with all those injuries and then having to listen to Bruins fans thinking they're the greatest because they beat a team full of injuries will be way to sickening..

Can i rag on Wiz?

Seems like he was turnover central tonight. I especially liked his tape to tape pass to Ovechkin in the slot.

Pacioretty told Wiz that he had a "small fracture that just needed to heal a little bit" and that he was "ahead of schedule"

WTF? lol

The defense as a whole was terrible. Coincidentally the Caps were flying, exposing the,

As I told Dave Stubbs. I expect Pacioretty to reveal he was born on Krypton. There is no other explanation how this man heals so fast.

Bruins fan, I come in peace. Ignore anything to the left of my post.

Glad to see Pacioretty is doing well.

So if Pacioretty's concussion is not as severe as first thought and all that needs is his neck to heal. 4-6 weeks he's back.

Subban seems to be our best player masher these days... if only we could let him loose when used for checking...

Someone should caption pics of Patches with the following slogans:

"Built American tough.

Plekanec out? Too late to tank?

On the bright side, Desharnais is going to get some good ice time a la Subban.

He better delivered. So much bad luck this season. If we make the playoff, we just become a punching bag for another team.
