Hm...to be fair, it's possible his skating has improved since then. I would like to think that the brass would have told him to work on that, and that they would have checked up on it before handing him a contract...

Lauridsen is a huge defenseman from Denmark with great size and reach. A team player with a good work ethic. Is aggressive and physical with the potential to become a very capable stay-at-home defenseman in the future. Mobility, in terms of skating, agility and acceleration, needs improvement.

It's the NHL salary, he has a different AHL salary.

The CBA rules that every entry level contract has to be a two way contract, on two way contracts NHL and AHL salary are negotiated independent of each other, the AHL salary isn't a certain percentage of the NHL salary.

I noticed he is listed on the Flyers roster. Does this mean he's a Flyer, or will he play for the Phantoms?

From what I can tell the Black Aces are still listed on the roster.

bc of the abundance of lackluster defenseman that are on this team bc they can't be sent to the Phantoms (Gervais, Lilja) and being behind young guys that have already shown they can play in the NHL (Gus, Boudon) on the depth chart, baring injuries I can't see him getting much of a look this season

Come camp the 5/6 spots are open anybody can take them if they earn it so if Lauridsen impresses in camp he could earn one of them so never say never..

I think he could use another full year in Adirondack. Big guys usually take longer to develop.

Hello Philly,

Can you guys let some of us Danes know how Lauridsen is doing?
How does his chances for future NHL icetime look?

We never hear allot about Oliver in Denmark, actually we hear more about his younger brother who plays for Denver Cutthroats.

What line is he playing on in the A?
