I guess Boyd isn't part of plans going forward, doubt we sign him unless no one signs him and we do to keep him in Hamilton

Will they even play?

I mean maybe its precautionary if Plekanec and/or Halpern don't play.

One of them should already be playing over freaking Pyatt...all he does is miss chances.

Montreal has no plans and Boyd has no plans of coming back . He is a UFA in waiting at this point . I'm sure he wants to pack his bags as quickly as he can after this year when guys like Palujah are getting called up.

Wow.

I'm interested to see what Palushaj can do. I hope he's not a Maxwell type who puts up decent points in the Ahl yet just can't make the transition, not even as a bottom 6 player.

Desharnais
Pacioretty
White
Weber
Subban
Eller
Palushaj
Nash
Engqvist

That's a lot of rookies in one year to make appearances on a playoff team. I feel like I'm forgetting someone too.

Players like him are all over the league and if we were not offensively challenged and lacked some size he would be a decent 4th liner. It doesn't make sense that an already poor offensive team loses its best forward in Pacioretty and the guy we bring into the lineup is Pyatt.

I never knew it was too much to ask for a player to put a puck into an empty net.

I don't think cammalleri, gomez and gionta will play togheter. Martin will probably try to spread the offense ( or what's left of it)

I would try:

Pouliot-Gomez-Gionta
Kostitsyn-Eller-White
Cammalleri-Desharnais-Moen
Dawes-Pyatt-Palushaj

I think Palushaj will impress ALOT, he just needs that one opportunity. No reason why he shouldn't play over Pyatt tommorow.

As long as Eller and Kostitsyn stay healthy, we'll be fine.

(never thought we'd be counting on these two to carry the team have you? )

If you offensively challenged enough that you're suddenly looking at your 4th line players to produce, you're in major trouble.

Yeah you want to win, but you dont play your 110% to make the AHL playoffs and to win the AHL championship, your doing your 110% so that you can get called up, lets not kid ourselves

The GM could care less that hamilton has lost all their players and will "lose games or get crushed in the playoffs", ....the AHL season is a formality...

Weird ehh?

They are my two favorite players on our team. Andrei's been my favorite since his rookie year and I liked Eller since the trade.

Eller and Kostitsyn IMO are the two most talented forwards on this team. When both are on, they can change a game around. Eller is still young, but man that talent. If only Eller's development can be faster dammit! lol. I love him so much. He's going to be a really good hockey player.

He played basically the same way until the playoffs came last year when he turned it up a notch and was absolutely awesome. The playoffs are where I became a huge fan.

As far as the call-ups, after hearing Engqvist was injured, they make sense. We don't have much else left.

Cammalleri - Gomez - Gionta
Kostitsyn - Eller - White/Dawes/Moen
Pouliot - Desharnais - Palushaj
Pyatt w/ 2 of Dawes, Moen, White.

Hey natey, can you give me a detailed assessment of Palushah's play and possible contributions to the big club?

I haven't seen enough Hamilton games this year to give a good assement. .. I've only seen about 8-games this year - and absolutely none since Desharnais has been called up with the exception of the one on CBC.

Sorry man.

That's okay, as long as you don't go and do something silly like getting pregnant.

Damn. I'm really curious to see what people think he could offer and his potential could be.

From what I've seen from him so far(and it has been extremely limited), if all goes well, like perfectly well, I see him as a decent 3rd line complementary winger.

I hope he can impress (if he plays) and hold the fort for a little while.
