Who's your favorite Irish Pred?

Ah yes, the fake American Holiday of St. Patrick's Day is coming up and it's another excuse to get sloshed on Beer.

But who is your favorite Irish Pred?

Is it Sullivan? O'Reilly? O'Brien? Any Irishmen from days past?

Who is the one Pred who says 'Irish' to you?

O'Tootoo.

Anyone who brawls that much has to have some red in them somewhere.

Tom Fitzgerald (I realize the name is Norman in origin, but it was a common translation for Mac Gearailt in British-controlled Ireland, and he was born in Greater Boston, so I seriously doubt there's no Irish in him).

That's...his point...by the "fake" part.

It originally turned from an Irish-only holiday to a holiday that is now being dominated by Americans. It hardly has a hint of the original holiday in it.

Sort of like Cinco de Mayo...any excuse for beer. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

The Canadians "celebrate" Trade Deadline Day and combine Free Agency day with Canada Day...more excuses to goof off. I think it's just a sign we're all overworked.

Although his time was short-lived and well past his prime, I would vote for Peter O'Forsberg... everything about him says, "Irish" to me.

Sweden, Ireland, pretty much the same, right?

There was an O'Goc jersey up for bids tonight. I like the sound of that.
