AV said Sauve was re-called as an emergency... so does this not count as one of our call-ups?

If the call up doesn't play and is sent down before any games then I don't think it counts

Sauve pulls the Grandpa Simpson.

In a perfect world, the Jets would be back in Winnipeg, and we would kick the Heat out of Abbotsford so we could have the Abbotsford Moose close by.

As I said above, people really need to relax about the number of call ups. After the team has exhausted it's 4, they're still entitled to an unlimited number of call ups if they can't field a full roster. And really, that's the only circumstance they'd ever call someone up this season. They could have 0 call ups left and it wouldn't make a lick of difference because they have neither the cap space nor the need to call someone up if they already have 12 healthy forwards, 6 healthy defensemen, and 2 healthy goalies.
