He is saying we will get 12 out of a possible 22 points. I don't think that is overly optimistic. He's also saying we will lose to Philly who we mangled last time out and Pittsburgh who is still short handed. So, good with the bad.

6-4-1 gets us 91 points which could be enough. A win vs. MTL would be HUGE...but I'm not holding my breath. Besides, as long as we keep up a win 2 of 3 pace we're on track to end up with 92 points, and that's assuming a regulation loss vs. Montreal.

Excactly. Rangers are capable of winning any of the 11 remaining games. They can ofcourse beat Philly and Pittsburg away. I am just saying they have a good chance of getting 90 points . As you said I am not overly optimistic. When teams are ready for playoffs or/and out of chance getting the playoffs it could be easier for a hungry Rangers-team to meet those teams. Florida and Ottawa will be out of the race next week when they face Rangers. I think.

Go Laffs.

Canes look pretty good, though.

Question about NHL Gamecenter:

There is 1 month left in the season. If I play the monthly service of 19.95, is that all I have to pay if I cancel after one month?

I think MacArthur will get it.

EDIT: Either him or Phaneuf.

All Heatley got for that incredibly blatant headshot was TWO games?! This league is pure comedic gold.

I didn't have much issue with Murray's hits. I think I would have given Heatley 6 games to make a statement.

I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to cancel.

Leafs helping us out here.

Could it be the Sabres, Rangers, and Devils fighting for 7,8,9 by the end o the year? Atlanta seems to have fallen out of the proceedings, and I would be very surprised to see Toronto make it at this point.

I think it's Sabres and Rangers fighting for 7th and Canes and MAYBE Devils fighting for the 8th or 9th.

May throw in Sabres/Rangers vs. Habs for 6th, too.

What I think we'll see.

Habs
Rangers
Sabres
-----------
Canes
Devs.

Nice work Toronto! If we can get a win over Montreal on Friday that would be huge at this point. We'd be at 80 points with 10 to go.

I see the Anisimov thread and I wonder how much better these people want Arty to play.

Then I see Bozak and understand true perfection.

Big win for Toronto that keeps the Canes 4 points behind us with no games in hand. A win vs the Habs can really help us keep some distance from 8th place and the habs are banged up, we can beat them on Friday as long as we play solid defense.
