exactly and since cammy wont be the only one on his line being checked all the time he might actually have some room now to get shots away, especially one-timers.

I look forward to seeing Eller in this situation. Maybe he can relax a little knowing he's not gonna be on the bench if he makes a mistake. Seemed to do wonders for Subban when the D was depleted.

Eller and AK are both physical - it could be an interesting combo and it could be a big failure. LOL I'm trying to be optimistic here.

Exactly. Have people already forgotten the ATM line? It DID work before AK was thrown out of it to help Gionta and then got sucked in Gomez's blackhole which apparently Eller dragged him out of (Gomez seems to be a bit less of a blackhole too lately at least).

The thing is, AK and Cammy are actually 2 pretty good play-makers themselves, they just like to shoot too. All I wish is that AK still uses his shot. But he did early in the season and should be at a pretty good confidence level right now so I don't think it should be too much of an issue.

And Eller is better at getting the puck off the boards and controlling it in the zone than Plek, which gives more time for Cammy and AK to get in position. Plek is stronger than Eller on the rush.

Some people have drive. When i was 8 years old, i got hit by a car. I was crossing the street when an old man(drunk) hit me, i flew 10 feet in the air(no exageration), landed straight on my face. I survived without breaking a bone( cuz i drink lots of milk everyday ) I suffered a concussion, half my face was gone(no skin just meat n ****) i had a bruise that went from my knee to my rib cage where the car had impacted me. I had bruises and scrapes all across my body, i could hardly walk, i limped everywhere and it took my a while to get to my destination. Anways 2 days later i played my championship baseball game and i hit a homerun, a triple and a double and got the game winning ball( still got it on camera). All this to say, when someone wants something, theyll fight to get it even under the worse circumstances. Heart, determination and the will to win go a long way, Max clearly has it.

My fear is that they somehow feel pressured to feed the puck to Cammalleri instead of keeping it simple and let the plays unfold like they're doing right now

Sounds funny to say this but if Cammalleri can buy-in to THEIR style, they could be great

I duno how good Dawes and Palushaj are defensively. I trust Pyatt, but I'm scared that line's going to be a turn over experience. But you never know. Maybe Dawes and Palushaj will be the offensive oomf Pyatt needs while, Pyatt being their defensive back up?

Can't wait to see our rookies play.

What about Gorgeous Gorges? Where does he fit in?

Edit: I'm sure you meant to write "Gill - Gorges" as the 3rd pairing...

So basically:

Vet-Vet-Vet
Vet-Rookie-Vet
Vet-Rookie-AHL
AHL-AHL(ok... not quite)-AHL

Vet-Vet
Rookie-AHL
AHL-Vet(that was benched on another team)

3 Rookie including our 2nd and 3rd center and 3rd defensemen, 5-6 guys that should be in the AHL and a guy that we got off another team's bench for a late pick.

So basically half our team is rookies or AHLers, missing our best forward (hell I would even say our 2 best forwards, Pacioretty was our best winger before he got hurt) and 4/6 of our core defensemen AND the traded for to replace our missing core defensemen.

So Price, feeling good tonight?

Well he has Subban playing on 2 pairs, I'm sure he'd be willing to let Gorges play one of his 2 shifts

He also has AK playing on 2 lines, which makes it a little less obvious that we have a gaping hole at the wings.

Good. This will mark the first time that AK-Eller will have to play a top line (i assume) and top D pairing. I hope their recent excellent play does not take a step back because of it. Rise to the occasion boys!

He still showed more offensive abilities than what Tom Pyatt has shown us so far this season.
