I like it. JM going back to the efficient duos (DD-BP).

Playmaker-PWF/Gritty-Scorer

I like.

Habs seem condemned to finish 6th... I'd rather them try to finish 5th and meet a battered Pittsburg team, or even better 3rd but I doubt Boston will collapse.

Habs blow out (somehow)

8-1 Habs, 6-0 going into the 3rd.

Cammy x3, Eller x2, Kostitsyn x1, Pyatt x1, Gionta x1
Lecavalier x1 in the 3rd, ruins shutout

three stars:

Cammy: 3 goals 2 assists
Price: 43 saves
Kostitsyn: 1 goal 3 assists

Best night of the year for Cammy!

Sorry, but this line-up is awful. If we win it's because Price plays even better than he did against Washington, and the young players really, really step up.

I am interested to see how Cammy - Eller - AK will play out. I have been wanting to see them together for awhile now.

4-3 OT Loss
AK,Eller,Gomez

I'd be surprised if Dawes and Palushaj have more thand 5 minutes of ice time. They play on the fourth line with Pyatt who will se plenty of time on the PK with Pleks and Halpern out.

I just notice that Dawes is the TOP scorer in AHL despite playing a few games less than others. (I know that is meaningless since Locke is #1 in points)

I cannot believe we will be playing the Lightning with so many injuries... Can someone answer me why Price is starting tonight?? We're missing NINE players... Give Auld the net today and let Price try to get the win tomorrow against the Rangers...
I love all of you guys and I admire the positive thinking, but today we will lose 5-0 and Price will be pulled in the 2nd. I just don't see it happen guys, even if the game is at home.
One last thing, didn't JM hear what Kostitsyn said about his line with Eller and Moen??? They had chemistry and all had a different role on that line! I personally don't like our first two lines

Sorry for this post, but I'm under the weather as well (flu... vomitting) so I'm in no good mood

At some point, these experts need to chuck their egos out the door and admit that they underestimate this hockey club instead of looking for weak crutches time after time.
Sadly that will never happen and is why I don't listen to/watch as much analysis as I used to. I barely watch the news because of this too... any reporters on this board? Honestly what do they teach you guys in Journalism School?!?

He doesn't have a choice. If he doesn't produce now, it'll be magnified 10x and people will get on him like never before.

I believe his best performances have always been in high pressure situations. He knows that with Plek out of the lineup that he IS the #1 center and I think that's enough for him to get into fiesta mode

Edit: I think Eller could also have a breakout performance, he'll be in the middle of two very competent players and he will have more ice time than usual.

I'm surprised to see that people think Dawes is going to score a goal.

He'll likely play 4 minutes...

No Pleky or Gill...let's see how the PK fares against Tampa...although I am not too sure if Tampa's PP is as potent on the road
