Isn't it pretty much an automatic 4 for drawing blood? I didn't see any intent to warrant a fiver but I believe 4 is auto.
With the way the league has come under pressure lately I'd imagine all head hits are going to be called that way. And I don't think the rule book says anything about blood causing a double minor, but blood obviously sways the judgment of the referees towards the 4mins.
Here is our 5 on 3 strategy: Two D in their traditional position. One forward in front of the net the others playing on each circle. Everybody is stationary. How about moving around and confusing the goalie and the PK'ers and not being so damn vanilla. I don't understand why guys on our team are so afraid of being creative.
Tootoo has got to start thinking a bit more on some of these borderline plays. Possibly left his feet on a hit, but basically missed contact. Not really sure what happened with Seidenberg there. Looked like nothing, but these refs made a statement by booting Hornqvist
