Yeah, he can't let it get to his head. It's not just Kings fans that do that to their team.
Well, it's a ****** thing to do. I don't care who else does it. But, whatever. The game is almost over and I'm sure the team can't wait to come back on Saturday.
You had to go make dinner....
THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!
DINNER
dinner
jeez, during a game? tsk tsk what did you make and is there enough to go around?
Did you make enough for everyone?
Yep ... come on over ... Garlic Chicken and Pasta stir-fry w/ Green Tea, it's like all healthy food and **** bring some beer we'll piss and moan about how bad this game is and get **** faced drunk
Seriously. Maybe he allowed a couple softies, but he kept us in it early and it's not like we're scoring goals and he's giving the game away. Not a good game for Quick but definitely not his fault
Yes, this, exactly.
It is definitely a disappointing game but after our previous record with the Blues it should have been expected and it is just one game. No need to turn on our star goalie, who has turned out amazing numbers this year. Even if hadn't let the last 3 in it would still likely be a 0-1 game, given the way our offense is playing.
Lets focus our energy on hoping Clifford recovers fast and we have a strong, full team comeback on saturday night.
Even the first goal he gave up a huge rebound right up the middle.
I'm sorry but any goal from CENTER ICE is a bad goal. I'm done.
The entire team sucked tonight.
Didn't see the first goal, and like I said, I have seen too many pucks dip, curve, bounce, and generally act like they are possessed after leaving the blade of a stick to label that 3rd goal as a soft goal.

That 3rd shot, that puck was NOT on a rope, it took off, after it left the stick, by all rights that shot 99.9% of the time stays on the ice, this time, it hit something and soared up after Quick was already down in position for the original shot,
It's a stoppable shot, not saying that it isn't, but I am saying it's not as much a softie as people think it is at all.
Are you a goalie? I'm going to assume no. Well, I've been a goalie for 11 years now. That is an easy shot to stop. Yeah yeah yeah the puck was fluttering. It's called get your ****ing chest directly in front of the puck and it doesn't go in.
And if you are a goalie and think that's hard to stop, I'll give you lessons.

... Yes, it would only be a soft one if, instead of being shot from center ice, it would have to be shot from the other side of the rink or from the stands, or maybe from the rafters like Wayne Gretzky did in that McDonalds commercial.

I agree with sjmay on the 3rd goal, in the sense its a fluke goal rather then a soft goal. The puck was travelling along the ice, until it reached about the high slot, where it suddenly took off. It was essentially a high tip.
Goals 2 and 4 were both very very bad though so its irrelevant
