Price ends up with 70 appearances (which is still high) but at least he gets a little rest for the start of the playoffs (assuming the Habs won't pull an epic choke down the stretch). But knowing the Habs, Price will get 9 of 10 starts and Auld will get pulled in his only one.
Got to allow Price to get back in after a rough start.

Actually, I wouldn't mind.

Wild are out of the Western race anyways.

I know we're hurt...but if Cammy plays like that because he's hurt, sit him and rest him.

Just saw the replay with Subban again, I'm a huge fan but I thought it was a pretty ***** move. I didn't like it.

I still love PK though.

The loss was expected.

I notice many times that Price has played pretty well when he's rested, and he seems playing not very well if he plays too much.

Moen fight is pathetic. He felt like 4-5 times.

Ranger fan in peace. I'm in a GM Game representing the Habs. What do the lines look like when everybody is healthy?

Healthy team:

Halpern-Plekanec-Cammalleri
Pacioretty-Gomez-Gionta
Moen-Eller-Kostitsyn
Darche-Desharnais-Pouliot
White-Pyatt

Markov-Subban
Gill-Gorges
Hamrlik-Spacek
Sopel-Wisniewski
Mara-Weber
Picard

Price
Auld

What you saw tonight:

Moen-Gomez-Gionta
Cammalleri-Eller-Kostitsyn
Pouliot-Desharnais-White
Dawes-Pyatt-Palushaj

Hamrlik-Wisniewski
Mara-Subban
Picard-Weber

Price
Auld

As you can see. Big difference.

The 10th and 11th D on our depth chart were forming a pair tonight.

OK. I saw what you did there. Got to find someone better than Halpern to play with Pleks. Cammy is playing bad now. He should rest for a few games.

Was nice to see the team not give up after the brutal end to the first period, with this many guys out and a back to back I wasn't expecting much. Hopefully we can get a body or two back on Sunday as I'll expect the team to come out flying.

We are on a trip. I don't think we will get any reinforcement on Sunday.

Alright, I will refer you to a post I made in The Out Of Town Thread.

Guess who is mandated for the GDT.

EDIT: Oh ****, I realize I was probably a little drunk and sad when I made that post due to the Wild drinking game I played that night.......

Exactly. Let the tanking begin in Minny. The Habs beating them on Sunday would actually do you a favor.

I think we are heading into a new era.
the era where there is a lot of leadership in this team.
On tsn they said the leadership we have is the only thing holding this team

The injuries in 08-09 were not as bad as this year and that team floundered. I'm not saying all the guys in 08-09 had bad leadership but it just was not strong enough. You could see after being down 5-1 how they came back strong and would not let themselves be embarrassed.

ya it wasn't as strong as now.
the guys tonight got 2 more goales to make it 5-3 then that PP goal to make it 6-3.
6-3 is better then 5-1

Tanking?

If the Wild wanted to tank, they sould have started a month ago. It's too late to tank sadly.

Do you have any ideas what the Wild lineup will look at?

Any injuries?

Will Theodore play?

1) Brunette-Koivu-Miettinen

Bouchard-Brodziak-Havlat

Cullen-Madden-Clutterbuck

Kobasew-Peters-Nystrom

Zanon-Stoner

Scandella-Spurgeon

Schultz-Burns

2) Zidlicky, Sheppard (not a big loss btw), Barker

And Guillaume!

3) Let's see who starts tomorrow. (Most likely Backstrom) To be honest, I hope Backstrom starts both games. He has been playing unreal lately.
