So satisfying. I'd have preferred we not let Montreal get within 2, but I'll absolutely take it.

And Subban is the biggest ***** in the league.

I`m not so sure you can pin that on Bettman to be honest.

The internet has more to do with it.

At the advent of satellite TV in the UK in the 80s, we had Screensport and Eurosport showing hockey. Hockey attendances were booming here at that time. If you were lucky, someone had a copy of Hockey News and it got passed around. The UKs 'News Review' carried some snippets of the NHL but not much, so we were limited.

Council TVs Channel 5 then took up the hockey mantle when Screensport went down but all the games were in the middle of the night for us so it was VHS time

Now, as hockey crowds are dwindling here, there is a new Medium and that`s the 'Net. It`s simple to follow trades, results, drafts etc and therefor can follow the sport all the way through. 25 years ago we got our NHL news from 'what you heard at the rink on a Saturday night'.

It`s like football in Scotland, crowds are falling away because it`s too easy to find games on the 'Net and that`s the killer. Now instead of me going to the game on Sunday evening, I`ll stay home and watch The Rangers on the 'Net (as it`s not on ESPN here) at 5-30. And that`s because I can, not because Gary Bettman has done miracles.

If the lundqvist incident had happened earlier, the line to beat him up would've been long..

Also Subban is a *****, no way around it..

More than Avery, but not more than Cooke, IMO.

I severely dislike Avery, but when Subban squares off in a helmet-less battle with Carcillo like Avery has, I will consider them on even terms.

But Subban never backs down!

PK Subban: Ready to Fight.

EDIT: Actually, to property represent Subban, I'd need to photoshop a linesman in front of the bubble head, but I don't have time to at the moment, so use your imagination.

Tell me when Subban's representation comes from some funny **** he said about his ex-girlfriend and not from the ******** he does on the ice.

Just watched the highlights. Arty's celebration on the first goal was classic.

Gabby looked so happy when he scored. I really hope he lights on fire and starts dominating again.

He did that celebration last season too vs. the Pens... the bow and arrow.

Seriously, Artem got most POTG votes and not a single comment mentions him as POTG???

That's why you get "Can't stand Artem" or "Let's trade Anisimov" threads in here all the time.

Anisimov has been great lately, has really taken it to another level. I thought he played well in Pitt too.
