Shogun is amazingly good. And Jones destroyed.... destroyed a guy who beat The Dragon and the Dragon steamrolled Evans.

The best p4p in the UFC pretty soon. His only lost was a 12-6 illegal elbow but he was dominating that fight.

His reach is incredible.

Maybe, but Silva wrestling is so bad...and SIlva strongest point is his reach, not having any reach advantage vs Jones.

Evans is a shot fighter.

No way he can challenge him.

Rashad Evans looked really bad against Lyota Machida.

In all honesty, the only one who might have a chance against Jones is the Dragon, only because of is awkward stance and leg kicks, even then the odds are 20 against 1 imo... The other is Rampage Jackson with a one punch KO' but Jackson is slow and doesn't have good chin anymore. He got rocked bad by Machida.

205: Jones (I can't see anyone beating him)
185: Silva (Nobody can beat him fo years)
170: GSP (I don't like Shields, even if he is the best BJJ fighter at 170)
155: Wide open, lot of contender for the title
145: Aldo (Nobody will beat him)
135: I don't know the category enough.

Heavyweight well, I still love Carwin, Dos Santos will be a good opponent for Velasquez.

Silva's wrestling isn't that bad. Sonnen was an all time great wrestler to be honest.

IIRC, Griffin had a longer reach than Silva and he steamrolled him. Griffin is a big guy.

Silva is the only one in the UFC that might have the same talent and athletics than Jones. More experienced and amazing flexibility. Elusive fighters.

He can knock you out with any limb of his body.

I think SIlva can get beat as he's not a good wrestler. Sonnen had him until he went in stupid mode.

I think Phil Davis could beta Jones down the line.

Silva got taken down by Travis Lutter ...

Okami could have a chance if he stay on top and use his power. But Okami is a nutcase.

Velasquez dominated Brock when he won the title.

Anderson Silva smashed Rich Franklin when he won the title too (and so did GSP vs Hughes).

But yeah point remains... That was almost hard to watch. Shogun got absolutely manhandled from start to finish.

A couple things about the UFC tonight...

1. Please, Please, Please...Crocop stop fighting! Dana White already said that Crocop won't be fighting with the UFC anymore. Just don't go over to Dream and embarass yourself.

2. Jon Jones looked incredible tonight. It's rare that you see a champ get beat down like that. Even in some of the other matches that someone pointed our earlier it was different. Good comparisons and I'm not disagreeing but Jones just beat him down. It wasn't a one shot KO/TKO, I couldn't believe the composure the guy had. A 23 year old kid that just kept grinding and breaking Shogun down. When he had him hurt the 1st time he didn't go in for the kill, just kept working him. He could have punched himself out or made a mistake if he went after it. I was really impressed that he just continued to break him down.

It was the same when he lost to Griffin.

Anyways, in fighting you never know. Evans might gorund and pound Jones the whole fight, he might catch him with a looping right. I don't like Rashad but he's got pop.
