Avery will still sit. Gilroy will play with McCabe, Eminger with Girardi.

Logic suggests that Staal's injury is his knee acting up again, because other than the high stick, nothing from the Montreal game jumps out.

i dont remember him getting hurt in the habs game.
Don't know, Gross is specualting on his blog this could be that or an agravation of his knee injury. Guess we'll know soon enough.

Prust may as well dance with Rupp right off the get go to get the team hyped up . I think we will need a spark like this to fire everybody up especially with Staal out of the game . I think this might become the type of game where Avery could have played an important role in if he could control himself...but we know how that ends up .

Gonna miss this one

Going to watch Djurgården - Luleå here in Sweden instead, playoff game. Luleå lead the series 3-0, now it's 3-3 and if Dif win this they're going to be the first team in SEL history to turn the series that way. Hoping to do a Philly here... Catching the Rangers game during the breaks.

at this point id rather call Kris Newbury for a spark over Avery. at least Newbury doesnt take selfish penalties in the offensive zone. on Prust i wouldnt mind him sending a spark to the team but he cant be the only one to do that in a fight.

God I hope he didn't get another concussion from the high stick he took on the yaw last night.

No, Staal didn't have a concussion before, that concussion was caused by a hit to the head was a knee injury.

I guess the refs have stopped calling the obstruction after a dump-in.
