Agreed, but I am going to the next game vs the Panthers which we should be able to win, then we got Sens, and Isles down the road. Those are 3 games we have no excuse not to win, we just have to beat the Thrashers, Bruins once, and Sabres or Devils and thats 12 points which should defintely get us in. Lets keep it up, this was defintely the time of the year to get HOT!

#Pens coach Bylsma on possibility of Cooke suspension: "I don't think you can talk about eliminating head shots in the game, as we have, without expecting [the Cooke hit] to get examined."

Gonna have to go Lundqvist for POTG on this one, he kept us in for the first 2 periods and that was a great save just before the Stepan goal gloving that deflection off of Girardis(?) skate.

I was so pissed off after that Cooke elbow and Pens scoring short handed that this victory feels incredibly good.

One the of the most satisfying Ranger games I've seen in a long time. Combined with Friday night's win, I can't remember this kind of back to back resolve when the script usually demands a let down.

How in the world does Matt Cooke have an "A"? Really Pens?

Stay classy Pittsburgh.

Henrik is the POTG. Honorable mention to Callahan. Henrik kept us in a game where we were dominated, gave us a chance to win the entire time, and we did. Looked great, thankfully, after the hit in the last game.

The Good: Henrik, Callahan, Gaborik's continued production, etc.
The Bad: We got dominated for large portions of the game, the PP 5-on-4 was weak, could not generate many good chances, Girardi looked lost, etc.
The Redden: Cooke's hit, get him out of the game.

Since the trade deadline:

Artem Anisimov:

9 Gms: 5 G, 5 A, 10 Pnts, 8 PIM, 25 SOG

Yeah, involved. Think being traded had him worried? He is playing awesome right now. Shades of how Dubi stepped up another level late last year.

POTG: Hank and Cally.
The Good: The team. Love it when we play like this.
The bad: That short handed goal. I almost broke my hand.
The Redden: Matt Cooke and the fact he's still an NHL player.

I voted Hank player of the game, and have no problem with Cally getting votes too-Cause I wanted to vote him also-. And a few people giving Eminger the HM that he deserves...Just a suggestion, why dont we change the poll to a 3 star sorta thing where we vote for 3 players?

Regardless, great win. Love to see guys like Cally, Duby Gabby and Stepan scoring. Keep pushing forward NYR.

The brass in Pittsburgh really have to start with taking the "A" away from him... Then maybe suspending or releasing him..

I'm sorry, 9 shutouts...WHAT???

And FYI, Fluery wasn't bad today, he had to deal with the powerplay to end all powerplays.

He definitely has me eating crow, and I'm thrilled to do it. He's an entirely different player since the deadline.

Was a kind of crappy game for the most part but Lundqvist held them in it and they took advantage of the chance that Cooke gave them (after making it harder for themselves)

First 4 game winning streak of the season

Just have to hope we don't have a let down.

Honestly even have a shot at 6 with the way MTL is banged up, I'd rather face WSH than BOS however though..

St. Patrick's Day, a smearing of the Habs, and OT win over Johns Hopkins, and best of all a victory over the Pens. What a four days

He's been sooooo hard to watch

He turned it on late last season playing with Prust and Shelley, now doing it with Cally and Dubi.

He is the underlying key to a deep playoff run. If he performs like this, we can go far.
