The team must be in a good spirit! Running the score has that kind of effect.

Here is something to consider, Mike Boone spoke about it on his blog about tonight's game

If you were to redo the 2007 draft after this season, obviously Kane goes 1st ..

Who goes second in the draft if it were held today? Boone believes it would be PK. Scary thought.

Philly picks PK Subban with the 2nd overall pick.

Pronger - Subban

PK, White, Pouliot, Desharnais!

Crazy game!

But I kinda feel bad for Theodore. Always like him when he was in Montreal but everything seems to collapse for him when he plays against his former team.

He let 5 goals but what could he do? A perfect play on a 2 on 1 from White and Pouliot, an amazing blast by Kostitsyn after a defensive turnover, a puck deflected by the skate of his dman, a crazy play on a 2 vs 0 by Cammy and the Wiz.

He looked lost on the 5th goal though but his dmans should have cleared the rebound pretty easily.

It just shows how well the Habs played (and how bad was the Minnesota's defence).

They took White's assist away. Looks like PK's hattrick goal gave White the Gordie Howe hattrick too now.

The problem with Stevenson is that he played in the Darkest Days of Houle...

because of this he is tainted for me.

Breaking out the "advanced" metrics, Subban also faces the tougher competition, has better Corsi numbers, and starts (slightly) fewer shifts in the offensive zone.

Good. Maybe people start talking about this instead of whining about the 2003 draft.

Komi was a good player with us...for his role. Schenn is a good young kid, let's not hate because he's a leaf. I would take shenn on our team for sure.

Schenn with Subban would be one heck of a duo in a couple of years.
