The funny thing about the 07 opening video is that in the end, the Gomez/Drury thing was a debacle and the young kids standing out was the future

Love hearing Sam go "It's a Rangers Sweep"

that prior season and the ensuing playoff series' was one hell of a ride..
avery, though he was just acquired at the deadline was in his prime as a true difference maker, the avery chants were epic, hank was establishing his throne, callahan was called up and I believe scored two goals in the 7-0 game 3 route what a fun game that was to attend, the jagr/straka/nylander line FTW ( i believe hossa got in on that as well)

Love the '94 intro, but I can't find the ad campaign from a couple of years ago, with The Bravery's "Believe" has the theme.

to think that dubinsky callahan and staal were just breaking into the league, seems like yesterday, its been a real privilege watching these young guys mature and develop, and to only think they've only taken that first step, cant wait to see what the future holds!
Funny thing is, Drury scored that night lol

Love these videos. Memories of my youth loving this team even though we were so, so bad.

More than anything, I miss the Rangers Game Night intros that they used in the late 90s and until just a few years ago. Nothing was better at getting me pumped up before a game.

Al Trautwig got a lot more handsome as he aged, if you ask me.

These videos are golden. I remember the 1999 and 2000~ ones and nostalgia pretty hard. I was so young back then.

Also, speaking of Rangers opener videos, I absolutely loved this one. Especially since they played it in MSG for that season for every game, before the Rangers came out on the ice.

They still play it at MSG, just a modified version of it now with different graphics and newer clips to include players on this years team.

I love the different intros they play at MSG and commercials they make come playoff time. I'm a loser for this kind of stuff. I can honestly say that during that video I posted on the first page from the 07 playoffs that I got goosebumps when watching it.

That makes me real happy. I hadn't been to a game at the Garden this year, so I didn't realize they brought it back.

I miss this intro from the late 80s/early 90s;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIcof...eature=related

This was before Messier got there, probably started around 88 or 89.

That's my favorite playoff intro post-lockout and loudest I've heard MSG and I've been at almost every playoff game at MSG since the lockout.

Yep it was incredible. MSG was so damn loud during that Sabres series, even when we were down 2-0 coming home you knew that team wouldn't die. Jagr wouldn't let them.

I forgot how bad the intro's where in the mid 80's.

JD as an announcer with a full head of hair at the end.
