I think that's a good call. This probably means Halpern or Pleks aren't coming back this week. Enqvist will now centre the 4th line and Pyatt will move to the wing, which is a better place for him to be. Enqvist will also help out on the pk, while Palushaj or Dawes can't do that.
I like Palushaj he showed flashes but he also showed he's not quite there yet. I hope he goes back and works hard. We'll see him again next year.
Engqvist is more mature and much bigger which is definitely something we need right now. Can't have Gionta, DD and Dawes on your team and not make up for it elsewhere.
Palushaj wasnt ready IMO, but due to injuries he got a taste of what it's like wearing the CH.
If anything it should help him down the road even if it was only three games.
as for Engqvist, he did well when called-up, solid defensively as expected, might cut some PK time for guys like DD or Camm - wich could be a good thing as they would have more time 5 on 5 to try creating more offense.
Cool!
His former team got bumped out of the SEL PO last night so I'll take this as a small consolation prize!
Hopefully he has a good stay with the big club!
Do not like this move, but oh well, bring on Engqvist I suppose
I believe this might mean that both Plek and Halpern could be out longer, which means we need to reinforce the center position.
Palushaj is going to be good imo, but he's not ready, he also got rocked by Stoner yesterday. He had his first tastes, now he needs to go work in the minors.
I have no objection to this.
Good move, Palushaj can be very good someday but he's definitely not ready. I liked Engqvist a lot when he was called up last, I think he has the potential to fight Pyatt and maybe even Halpen for a spot on the first team next year.
Hate reading between the lines, but is calling up a centre and sending down a winger proof that Plekanec's injury might be more serious than we thought? Hope not...
Agree with most of the sentiments here: Engqvist was solid in his first call-up this year, Palushaj definitely needs some more seasoning. Don't have a problem with this, whatever the reason behind it may be.

Could be. At least the team isn't in tough and fighting for a playoff spot so Plekanec doesn't need to rush back and can rest if he needs it.

From what i just saw on sports 30, Plek was flying on the ice today.

My first thought was that this is more about replacing an inadequate and often manhandled Pyatt as the 4th line C, since with this move Pyatt will likely go back to wing for the moment.
