How are Warrior's shoes?

I know this technically doesn't have to do with hockey even though they are advertised under warriorhockey, but does anyone know what sort of quality the Warrior shoes are? I believe this to be a fairly new product venture for them?

Warrior is owned by New Balance... a shoe/apparel company.

That's interesting. New Balance makes some pretty good running shoes. That's a weird mix though. To me, New Balance seems like a very non-flashy type of athletic shoe/apparel company, but yet Warrior hockey seems to take sort of a flashy type approach to their hockey marketing.

"Owned by" does not mean "managed by". I'm pretty sure warrior makes it's own marketing and product decisions.

I believe it just started out as cleats for Lax. I had a pair back when I used to play but it looks like they have expanded the line to include running and street shoes. I liked the fit of the cleats, and the durability seemed good, I believe they lasted 3 or so seasons. However I can not comment on the newer lines as I do not own a pair.

For anyone that has actually tried on Warrior shoes I would be interested to hear how they fit. For instance I know with Nike shoes you typically have to buy a size and a half up to a size larger than usual. Just curious if Warriors had a tight fit like that.

I have several pairs and love them. Fit just like a regular athletic shoe.

I've had the original Shooter, Breakr, and Breakr 2. I prefer the look of the Breakr 2 to the Shooter, but that's personal preference. http://www.shopwarrior.com/footwear/training. I use them for running, and work great. I also own several NB shoes. I don't know what I prefer, really.. I like the look of the Warrior shoes to the NB shoes.

They also have lifestyle shoes like the Hounddogs: http://www.shopwarrior.com/footwear/lifestyle . Haven't tried them, myself, though.

So it sounds like Warrior shoes are basically New Balance shoes with a Warrior brand face on them?

Sorry to add to an old thread, but that's exactly right, particularly because NB owns Warrior.
