Apperantly Aucoin turned down 13 over 4 years, so fairly high apperantly.

Zubov is a much better all around defenceman than most of these guys and Hatcher is probably going back to Dallas from what I'm hearing out of Detriot.

Dallas panicked.

Way too high for 35 year old Zubov.

Makes McCabe's contract sound much better.

And there was talk about buying him out.

Zubov at 4, O'Neil at 1.5.

There could be some wild and crazy guys running the NHL.

You guys are right what a brutal contract. It appears the same teams that ruined the CBA in the first place are right back at it again.

Zubov is 35 years old what the hell are they thinking. I was thinking he would get max 2.5 a year not 4. Its as if this lockout taught them nothing.

that worries me only for Foote, he'll be atleast 5 mill per season if Zubov got 4. And Niedermyer will easily get 6. The stars aren't helping things any for us eh, lol.

I'll be quite interested to see if anyone gets the max. There is still the possibility that Revenues will be below the projection this year, and the max may go down from 7.8 million per player. Next year will be the year to sign guys at the max, because I can only see Revenues going up after next year throughout the course of the CBA.

What about Leetch? if Zubov is worth 4 Leetch might be around 3-3.5 now.

Zubov's contract was probably indicative of the Dallas cap situation. We shouldnt freak: players will eventually take what they're offered. The Market will even itself out.

As much as I would love to agree with you, I don't. I would take McCabe over Zubov any day.
