Your Captain dives for calls, that's not something you should be proud of. Don't care if he was hitting everything, that tells me that he knows what he's doing is ******** and not honorable.
I forgot, I can't say negative comments about the Kings' on victory nights . . . where the hell are my manners.
I wouldn't say he dives. More like falling down harder than normal.
The Sarich cross-check was absolutely a penalty. Would it have been called if Brown didn't embellish it? Hard to say, but I'm glad he did.
"Diving" on the other hand, is going down without even getting touched. Big difference there.

did you tie your shoes too tight or something, you just sounded the same tonight as sat night, just trying to make you lighten up a little, brown's going play that way no matter what we think so don't let something you can't control ruin what has been a pretty good game and a tense luckily enjoyable run here for a month or so ....peace

I can't sit and watch the Captain of the LA Kings dive for calls, just can't stomach it . . so I'm going to vent the only way I know how, by posting about it on HFBoards

if the call on JJ was a crosscheck so was this, either way but I do understand being frustrated with the dives or we could end up like bobbylou and the gingers, falling when people skate by

no problem here dude I owe you a beer one night, I guess, I can't afford a cutty sark at the arena I just renew my tickets for next year, lol
a couple of times tonight he had the chance and instead made passes that almost caused odd man rushes and did cause one penalty, strange you would think he would at least take a shot were penner would have a chance at a rebound
As nice as this win is, I've had my sights set on San Jose for a while now... win the remaining games vs. San Jose and the Kings have a great shot at the division title.
Got to win and do it in regulation.
That's where I am at. Got to target San Jose and grab the Pacific Title. That would be huge.
Most people right now don't seem too concerned with the loss of Williams. I know he hasn't been hot for the last couple of weeks but he's a huge part of this offense. Hopefully, someone on the roster or from Manchester steps in and fills the role.
If Williams is indeed injured does that qualify as an "emergency" situation that allows the call up of Schenn?
One can dream cant he
I don't think we can even call up Schenn.
Or Toffoli.
Or Vey.
If Williams is down, expect Moller to be called up straight away and have our first two lines be
Penner-Kopitar-Brown
Smyth-Stoll/Zeus-Moller
I'm sure Brown can play well with Penner/Kopitar and might even be a better fit than Williams, but our 2nd line will be crap if Moller and whoever is centering can't find some sort of connection. It would be better if we just let Smyth rest the final nine games and if we make the playoffs, then let him get back in. He really needs to rest for a week or more.
We also have Parse who is somewhere.
I really am hoping for a Phoenix/Nashville first round. Not saying they would be easy, but even without Williams, we have superior offensive skill than both.
I'm happy we got the two points, but losing Williams is pretty critical if he's out for the playoffs. TM, said he's not getting seen by a doctor until tomorrow, so let's hope it's not too serious. Otherwise I would imagine he would have seen a doctor tonight instead.
As for the lines, the one thing I worry about if we end up moving Brown up to the top line is that we'll have three guys up front who like to pass more than they like to shoot. Penner and Kopitar have been trying to out-pass the opponent, but don't seem to take shots when they have the opportunity. Brown and Kopitar are notorious for doing the same when they're paired up. If we have all three on the same line, we'll be passing til the cows come home. With Penner posted up in front we should be firing the pucks and getting the dirty goals (kinda like when we first picked up Smyth).
Next game is huge if we want to make a serious run at Smythe Division champ. We may have to end up playing more of a road style game against their powerful offense (which might work in our favor seeing how we've been playing on the road).
